So yesterday I was watching Sportsnation and Tony Gonzalez was a guest. I was thinking to myself, "Man, what a great guy. Grateful to have watched him since his hooping days at Cal."

Fast forward to later that night. I don't even watch these NBA games for fear of the Heat winning. I go on twitter to break me the news of hopefully the Spurs being crowned, and the first tweet I see is Tony Gonzalez congratulating the Spurs and TD on winning the chip.

So I turn on the TV to catch a glimpse of the trophy presentation and the game is still in progress! Kawhi Leonard was going to the stripe to shoot 2 with 12.9 secs left and the score 94-92. Oh wth dear. He missed the first one and I turned the set off real scared like it was Poltergeist on the screen. At that point I knew the Heat tie the game and eventually win it in OT. Tony G... you a busta. And so am I for even turning it on to make Kawhi miss that critical FT.
