At this point,I just want all the pieces we have to get some training camp in,some playing time and gel together.thats all we need right now.everyone play their role and come out this season on full beast mode.**** all the other ****.im ready for the season NOW!

Id cut off a finger to see the knicks win a chip. I own season tickets.
FOH acting like im rooting against the knicks
You dont win fan points by cheering for this teams every move.
People these days have a problem with criticism and think it equals hate or trolling
Applaud this man. Fanhood clouds the judgement too much, especially with us NYK fans. Laker fans too but at least they've won recently enough.

Its very easy to se the fish rots from the head down

Jr smith sucks up to dolan. CAA also. So now we waste a spot on JR's brother

We wont ever win anything unless its some magic fluke.

Ewing didnt suck up. So he is in exile from this org

Sprewell and lin sent to exile

It seems like a small move but its loud and clear
Ewing? Son are you on that sauce right now? Ewing was there a decade before Dolan showed up. So it's the other way around when it comes to sucking up. PPL need to face reality with Ewing being traded. The Knicks were trying to get better they weren't just shipping a legend just to do it. Ewing was on his last legs, he had bad knees. Yes it's messed up he didn't retire with the Knicks but you acting like he put in 5 more solid years after retiring.

:lol Spreewell. He ruined his own career. I mean look where he is now. At least time to time ppl ask where Iverson is. NOBODY asks about Sprewell.

Lin looks like a suck up to me, just seems he made a wrong move with his agent by not agreeing to the est off bat instead of that last minute ****.

As far as this Chris Smith signing, what is he, 15th guy on contract now? Yall need to look at the team and realize there aint nobody else out there that we would've got that would've made a difference at this point. Our team is set. Nobody of value was coming here for w/e lil we had left to offer.

This.....everything you just said was spot on :lol. 2 years for 1.3 million.. THAT'S NOTHING. he's gnna just be seeing garbage time and if he manages to develop into a good defensive player why not. Yall need to chill realtalk. Yall acting like we were gnna sign a all star with that leftover money. For us to sign some old ************ I much rather give that money to Chris Smith. Maybe he works hard with JR and gets a jumper going relax.

I meant that Ewing can't get a job here. We distanced ourself from him entirely. Herb Williams ain't going nowhere why? Because he's dolan's man. The guy gives loyalty for questionable reasons.

How the hell does Lin look like up a suck up? Cuz he's Asian? He swouldnt sign with CAA. Didn't suck up to Dolan. So he's out

How do you know there is nobody out there to make a difference when just last year our won 15th man went berserk and helped get us into the playoffs?

This organization has a long history of stupid decisions based on personal reasons. Like firing a woman for reporting harassment to her superiors.

Spree well coming back and talking **** to dolan in the crowd was hilarious.

It isn't about Chris smith. It's about a team that goes about its business making personal decisions. Not basketball or business decisions.

Our 15th man blew up last year.

I don't think anyone's mad at the Chris Smith signing. Probably one of the most inconsequential things that could happen to this team. He's more mad because this is another example of a management team that one could argue tends to continually be more fueled by politics (appeasing JR Smith? CAA?) and James Dolan's feelings than basketball decisions.

Trading Ewing away for the horrible Glen Rice contract when he started to get disgruntled was part of that. Trading Sprewell bc Dolan didn't like him was part of that. Not signing Lin bc he supposedly re-negotiated (which he denies, but who knows who's telling the truth) was part of that too. And if you don't believe that Dolan/management doesn't make decisions based on politics and emotions as opposed to what is best for the team and fanbase, why did we keep Isiah longer than we did Walsh? I think Walsh did a better job...

I'm always going to be a Knicks fan. They've been my favorite team in any sport since I was born by far, and I know I'm going to come around when the season starts, but it's just getting ridiculous how every so often they have to do something unprofessional to prove they don't care about their fans. With what's gone on with 2 decades of these types of decisions and I guess culminating with this year and being petty with Lin, and getting nothing out of that situation, I find it harder and harder to want this team to be successful as long as MSG/Cablevision owns it. It's like even when they win, you lose bc they're making money off of it and it only reaffirms what they're doing.

I hope jeremy lin ******g sucks next year so i could stop hearing about his *** so much. ol i can't believe we traded gallinari and chandler for melo type ****

Ewing does NOT want to be an assistant here. He does NOT want to be the new Herb Williams. He don't want to be another secondary coach, or work with the d-league or w/e minimal role where he'd just be another face and name instead of actually being effective. I'm actually confident that he'd pass on any kind of offer where he was not the head coach of the team and even then he may not want to come back. Patrick Ewing has paid his dues in the NBA as an assistant coach. The natural next step is head coaching unless he's going to be an assistant to a hof coach.

I messed with the idea of him being the new coach after Pringles quit but under Woodson the team showed improvement and not just the immediate improvement that would've happened anyway once Pringles was gone but we got a coach that holds players accountable and so far players seem to not only like him but believe he can get the job done. We just gotta give him a chance at this point. I even liked Ewing coaching NOLA or CHA but that's not gonna happen.

I guess next step for Pat is to take the year off and/or go in to commentating. Maybe then a gullible owner will like what he says instead of looking at his resume.

Our 15th man blew up last year.
So why the **** won't you give Chris Smith a chance? Lin only got claimed cuz of our pg worries. Smith gets signed cuz you feel his brother who took less money again to sign here or out of loyalty wanted it. Does that not mean Smith can't "blow up"

But to keep it a 100 **** all that miracle linsane 15th man becoming a star nonsense. This aint a movie. The whole thing was a novelty act that fizzled quick when he got injured and didnt play in one playoff game as we lost in the 1st round again in 5 games.

We already know the deal with Dolan. You need to stop complaining about the whys and hows and just focus on the results of any decision for this team. Dolan could have his 1st born be GM as long as we win I'm all :smokin
How the hell does Lin look like up a suck up? Cuz he's Asian? He swouldnt sign with CAA. Didn't suck up to Dolan. So he's out
Lin just seems like a suck up to me. Not cuz he's Asian but cuz of how he carries himself. I'd say the same thing if he was white
How do you know there is nobody out there to make a difference when just last year our won 15th man went berserk and helped get us into the playoffs?
Again I'm not buying in to this miracle season ********. It was fine while it lasted but it's over and those things rarely do last. There's reasons underdog movies don't have sequels. I mean seriously how do you know Chris Smith won't be the guy to make a difference on this team? I mean seriously who did you want the Knicks to sign to fill out their roster? Where were you complaining when Smith was on our summer league team? Shouldn't you have seen this coming? Is Dolan still not the owner?
This organization has a long history of stupid decisions based on personal reasons. Like firing a woman for reporting harassment to her superiors.
Wouldn't be the first time a decision like that was made by a business.
Spree well coming back and talking **** to dolan in the crowd was hilarious.
That's all it was though. Some lulz.

JR took less money so they could sign him. His offense is shaky but his defense is what will make him intriguing. Woody is definitely going for the best defensive team in the league.

Thanks man I was on the road for work earlier this month and didn't see much summer league. I mean he will be the 15th man....I am not going to go crazy about it. It is what it is...hopefully he works on and if needed to fill in due to injury he can.

I loved the Brewer signing by the way....I can't believe the Knicks got him so cheap.

Anybody notice how our MSG broadcaster has side gigs? Not just any ordinary side gigs, but these are some major side gigs.

Mike Breen- ABC NBA Finals and Nationally televised games.
Al Trautwig- NBC Olympic coverage. He's been covering the olympics for as long as I can remember :lol

Providing for my mother was one of the main reasons I jumped from high school to the NBA. My father passed away when I was 12, so my mother was pretty much on her own raising us and trying to make ends meet. Since she was in and out of jail for various things, I had to make some big decisions as a youth, which included going to six different high schools. My family didn’t have any money, and when some schools promised to provide meals for me and it didn’t happen, I was forced to transfer. Because of all the transferring, I missed my junior year of high school, and since I started playing organized basketball at age 14—I was concentrating on football before then—I played for only about three and a half years before going pro.

My favorite mistake was going to the NBA straight out of high school. It’s my favorite because I was able to accomplish my dream, but I very much wanted to go to college and pursue an education.

I’d committed to the University of Memphis out of high school and was collaborating with two other NBA prospects, Dajuan Wagner and Qyntel Woods—who had also both committed to Memphis—to team up there and win a national championship together. But I believed I was ready for the NBA. I had trained very hard and was one of the top players in the country, ranking alongside my Knicks teammates Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton. I ended up being drafted by the Phoenix Suns in 2002.

Despite missing out on college, I’ve taken summer courses at Arizona State University and the University of Miami, and my favorite course was human geography. I love history. I think it’s important for us to know the history of our origins. I’m Hebrew through my mother’s side, so I was able to research the culture of the ancient Hebrews. Visiting Israel was an amazing experience where I learned about the history of the Hebrews and the 12 tribes of Jacob and how, even though we’re different ethnic groups, we’re all related as brothers and sisters. It gave me a lot of peace.

I want to get my college degree; it will just have to happen down the road because I can only take summer courses or online classes. By skipping college, I also missed out on the opportunity to be young and free. In the NBA you jump to being an adult quickly because there are professional responsibilities to uphold.

Amare don't play defense but he seems like a good person. :smokin

Dantoni was a huge part of the problem, but I think melo was way more hurt than we thought. Which is why he finished the season so well

I'm so damn upset about shump. We need him in the playoffs desperately. But I don't wanna rush him back. I dunno man it's a tough decision. :{

Brewer will fit in for Shump seamlessly. Dude is a lockdown defender who has held Wade to some of his worse games of his career
