I did want Allan to get it but I guess they're all figuring it's still early. I think he's in a perfect position given his relationship with Dolan and the team. He'll have a job with the Knicks for a long time, especially with him being a part time shooting coach for guys like Shump and Fields.

I thought it came out that he wasn't with the J.R. move and was hurt when management decided to go against his wishes and bring him in? Or was that some media created bull %++%?

Allan Houston shouldn't be worried about his future with the Knicks. He's done plenty for this team and will have a long standing relationship with us. He's been learning from Walsh and now he'll learn from Grunwald. I give it another 5 years before he gets the GM tag. Maybe even sooner depending on where things go.

As for Allan I was thinking around 5-7 years from now he'll have the job. I figure Glen will get the chance to deal with resigning Melo and Tyson. Depending on how things go I feel Allan will get the reins when it comes to rebuilding this team on the go when are current guys are on their way out.
