Lexus is the best car brand, period.

Just scooped an 97 SC300.

It will probably need some cash thrown at it because of high mileage, but should not be a money pit.

Body lines on it are just gorgeous.

Hope you guys werent bluffing about the brand.

thinking of copping a 2015 is 350 fsport before next year ends ....yall think theyll be under 30k by then? :nerd:
 
My wife is thinking about leasing the RX F-Sport. Our next car will need AWD.

Low key thinking about selling my IS. Should of got the 350 :smh: .
 
It's close but I might actually prfer the new RX over therange of Range Rovers, it just looks too much of the same these days.

If I were to try out a new SUV these days though in the range of an RX, I'd probably try out the Jag FPace.
 
So as a muscle car guy, I usually just wave off Japanese or other auto makers....

And then I sat in a IS 350 F-Sport. I low key need one right now.

Set to be unveiled during this year's Paris Auto Show, the so-called Kinetic Seat concept features a revolutionary fiber net construction, rotational movements for the seat cushion and back rest, plus a flexible spider web-pattern for optimal support.

Why a movable seat cushion and back rest you may ask? Well, it's all about the spine. How the spine works is that it allows the pelvis and chest to rotate in opposite directions, stabilizing the head even when a person is engaged in physical exercise such as walking, running or jumping.

Lexus wanted to recreate this movement in a car seat, and so they designed the seat cushion and back rest to move kinetically with the occupant's weight and external forces. In short, it helps stabilize head movement caused by vehicle motion, helping you keep your field of vision steady.

The previously mentioned spider web-pattern spreads out radially from the center of the back rest and is sufficiently flexible to fit one's body shape while dispersing the load and allowing for more comfort over prolonged periods. Look closer and you'll see that the center of the back rest is located at around shoulder blade height, which in turn "induces rotational movement of the chest around the seat's pivotal axis." This helps stabilize the head and of course, increases overall support.

The spider web-pattern threads themselves are made from environmentally-friendly synthetic spider silk materials and not petroleum-derived materials. In fact, the main component for this material is protein, created through microbial fermentation - a process which ultimately leads to superior shock absorbance properties.

Oh and naturally, the seat is sufficiently slim so as to help make the car lighter in weight as well.

If you plan on staying with a sedan, the GS.

If you want more room and go with an SUV, the RX is worth a look and a test drive.
