Meth, you do know of the existence of all the other female appreciation threads right?...take a look into the black girls appreciation thread and you'll see raunch levels that would make the Draya thread look like Saturday morning cartoons....the Draya thread actually became a cool hang out spot for jokes and kind hearted humor, probably one of the only threads where NTers understood one another and got along perfectly fine....I understand why you locked it, but you can't use this as a reason to lock one thread and overlook about 4 other threads currently on NT which are far worst.

I haven't seen users openly discussing and sharing pornography in those other threads.  

Given that this nonsense has already cost the site a considerable amount in lost advertising revenues, I think I've been MORE than patient.  

If you want content that isn't safe for work, visit another site.  If the content in the other threads bothers you, report it.  If the other posts are getting consistently out of hand, they'll be locked, too.  

NikeTalk was founded as a family friendly website.  Do not test the boundaries and do not test my patience.  If you want to have a thread like that one, you need to be absolutely certain that its content remains appropriate for our audience at all times.  Otherwise, we have NO reason to leave it open and EVERY reason to lock it and throw away the key.

Honestly The Draya thread was more about the chill factor in the thread, with a secondary obsession with a handful of girls, most if the time it was jokes and on a regular basis I have no clue what te difference between that thread and the booty appreciation thread is, yes Pron was discussed and that is a good reason for a lock, I totally understand it, but to say you locked it because of it's lack of morality or the poor taste of the pictures posted in it, doesn't make much sense while other threads with even worst content remain open simply because no one is hitting the report button...as you said one of the reasons for the lock on the Draya thread was the fact that NOONE actually hit the report button, so since that happened and you couldn't ban individual users you did away with the entire thread....anyways I'm not "testing your patience" I'm simply stating my opinion and neither I'm I begging for you to reopen the thread...at the end of the day is your site and you will run it as you see fit and that's cool, I enjoy this place with or without a Draya thread.

This was the main reason I had no problem with the thread being locked, but the more and more I think about it, the more dissapointing it is.
And I know members are looking at this like "why do these guys care so much about a silly thread?" But its more than that.
Nt has changed alot since I first came here, its a business now.
As the head of that business I realize that you have to care more about the sponsors than us...thats just how it is.
But before sneakerhead.com....before random objects...before laced up laces....before city gear....there was us.
Im not trying to push any agenda....and you know how I feel, and have always felt about mods and niketalk as a whole.

This is a good website....but niketalk is not made by sponsers, its made by members.

Its the "sneaker enthusiasts community"

But like steezy said...you guys are doing a great job...and I know you have let more things slide than lock lol.
