Meth warned us about the porn talk. And you come in the Draya thread to talk about nudes.
He then locks the thread to put us on timeout and let us know he is serious. And instead of just chilling and following his wishes, you engage wit a back and forth with dude. Relax B
He didn't lock the thread because of the scandalous pics, or the twerk videos. Because as you said other threads have that.
He locked it because on multiple occasion we talked about porn for page after page. He warned us, other mods warned us. And those pics hit that everyone started to talk about nude pics (which is porn) again openly for like 30 post deep. And we didn't report it. So if we want the thread back, maybe we should own up to us screwing up instead of being on some "well other people do it too" stuff.

Spare me the "you care about sponsors more than us" routine. We spent nearly a decade running this site with NO ads. That's just not feasible today given our scale and feature set.
No sponsors, no site. No sponsors, no donations. I think the Equal Justice Initiative deserves $10,000 more than you guys deserve the chance to discuss/request/post porn on NikeTalk.
We're not making up new rules to suit sponsors, either. Porn is not something we've EVER allowed users to discuss. I'm not putting adolescent lust ahead of every other user on the site who doesn't need or want that on NikeTalk.
NikeTalk deserves not to become the enemy of parents and network administrators everywhere.

We gave people an inch on this and everyone tried to take a mile. Our trust was abused over and over again. If you care about something, you accept responsibility for it.
Saying "chill" is not the same as issuing a report. Though the two aren't mutually exclusive, only one actually helps us REMOVE offending content that could cause our site to be blocked by parental filters, lose sponsorship support, or be considered unsafe by parents, network administrators, etc. etc.
The truth of the matter is that I could only reopen that thread if I felt confident that all future and existing content would be made 100% compliant with our longstanding policies. Unfortunately, I don't think that's possible. The threads regulars don't want a work safe thread. They want "Raunchtonia." And that's something NikeTalk cannot and should not provide.

I understand you Meth but you guys heck we all need to chill and let this cool over. I respect what Meth does for NT he and many others give us a place to share info and have a good time with the feeling of being a big internet community
