Thats cuz the third verse is recycled and from a mixtape from last summer... listen to world of fantasy

this album is extremely disappointing. After dropping a semi-masterpiece (semi mind you), three years later, after all the leak tracks (which sounded betterthan most of the tracks) he drops this??
smh.gif

3-peat - iight
Mr. Carter, and Dr. Carter - he went in, those tracks were hard
Playin With Fire - It was going well until son said something about "osh pick $+# posh"
Let the Beat build - eh

im giving it a 2.5/5, album is superweak. and how is that he has just blaze, kanye west, and alchemist, and none of those beats are remotely hot or even soundlike something they produced.

As terrible as I expected this album to be, it's pretty decent.. Wayne ain't talkin bout jacks_ but the production, features, and his flow make up forit.

I can't stop playing "Tie My Hands" and "Shoot Me Down"

I wasn't gonna really talk about Wayne's lyrics, but one has been sticking out to me

"I'ma do it again like n__ga backwards.."

So as someone who isn't exactly a Lil Wayne fan (as my sig indicates), this album is tolerable. I was expecting something REALLY bad but I can almostlisten to this. The lyrical content is cringe-worthy, but that's no surprise. The flow is horrible, and again, that's no surprise. I guess theproduction is what makes this album what it is.

c'mon now brother.

Do you even know what flow is? Listen to Andre 3000 on the Throw Some D's remix, or Lupe on Hip-Hop Saved My Life. That's what flow is.. actuallyscrew it - that's what PERFECT flow is. Lil Wayne just rhymes and pays no attention to the beat, snares, etc.

"now thats called reciting its when you recite soemthing cuz u like it so you say it just like it" ......somethin like that

hes a fool but that was clean

this album is just a fun album... It hits in the whip and the lyrics make you laugh/have a good time

Simple as that

Its the new Wayne...either like it for what it is, or jus dont listen...
He cant rap on everything like he did on the carter, or on parts of the carter II.
I mean, a lot of people are sick of that gun/gangsta #!*% anyway...

Who the %%*% is this WE LOVE 1989?

N_, you stuck in 89 with the constant hate

If you dont like it, then cool, why hate?

Just sit back...Im sure there gonna be a LL or Rakim Appreciation post somewhere down the road..just waiting for you

Of course, whoever says Wayne is a great rapper right now is full of $%+*, but atleast his $%+* is entertaining, more than i can say for 99% of the rest ofhiphop/all other genre's of music nowadays.

Ok i have one question why the hell would you say lil wayne sucks and then go and listen to his entire album. If you think he sucks what made you believe thatyou were gonna like his album that much better
