The hits keep coming for the Southern California football program.

Less than a week after being handed a sanctions by the NCAA, a report by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser states the season opener between USC and Hawaii could be in jeopardy.

As part of the sanction by the NCAA, the Trojans were put on two year’s probation and, according to the NCAA Infractions report, “…during the two years of this postseason ban, the football team may not take advantage of the exceptions to the limit in the number of football contests that are provided in Bylaw 17.9.5.2, with the exception of a spring game as set forth in Bylaw 17.9.5.2-(a).

Yeah been going to games since I was a kid (back when the turf would be covered with newspaper shreds by the fourth quarter). I wasn't expecting a win but I was looking forward to kicking off the Lane Kiffin era with some boos.

we still have the leader in interceptions from the SEC and 2nd on our team in tackles Mark Barron, Donta' Hightower got hurt last year and is supposedly 100%, Marcel Dareus won the National Championship MVP and didnt even start. I honsestly think our front and linebackers will be fine the only question mark i have is the secondary Mark Barron should do well. Dre Kirkpatrick was a 5 star recruit and should be a beast. Robby Green getting suspended for the year hurt us alot since he was probably the second best secondary guy we had. But Nick Saban's specialty is the secondary so i dont think it will be that big of a problem. And this should be the best offense we've had in a while.

ThePanama City Police Department announces the arrest of Edmund EhimenImeokparia, 21 years of age. Imeokparia is being charged with GrandTheft.



OnJune 14, 2010 a report was filed in reference to a stolen Motorolacellular phone from the Planet Cellular Store located at 3212 West 23rdStreet. Detectives with the Panama City Police Department investigatedthe case and learned that Imeokparia was in possession of the phone inTallahassee, Florida.

Afterconfirming with the victim Detectives then obtained a warrant forImeokparia's arrest. On June 15th 2010 Detectives with Panama Citynotified the Tallahassee Police Department of the investigation and
warrantand requested that Imeokparia be arrested on the charges filed by thePanama City Police Department. Imeokparia was arrested on June 15th2010 at approximately 5:40 P.M. without incident.

Thephone was valued at $449.99. The investigation continues and anotherarrest is expected in this case. The Panama City Police Departmentwould like to thank the Tallahassee Police Department for theirassistance and professionalism in this case.

Florida State football player Ed Imeokparia has been arrested in Leon County, charged with grand theft.

Accordingto police reports, the Seminole safety stole a cell phone in PanamaCity worth 449 dollars on Monday. Panama City Police received word thatImeokparia traveled back to Tallahassee with the cell phone and wasarrested at 5:41pm tonight in Tallahassee. Police say another arrest isexpected in the case. Imeokparia sat out all of 2008 with a torn ACLand has yet to record a stat at Florida State.
