Dilfer tried too hard in areas, but he really pinned the chalk talk down. He knows football. Problem was all he wanted was to talk football, but the viewers and ESPN wanted hot takes.

Dilfer's insight as an ex-player and QB for a successful team is pretty good. i think he sorta got carried away at times though.

that old Countdown crew had some bad eggs in it. the new one is a little better.

but we need mayock back on TNF, CC on SNF, and Romo on GOTW CBS. if we could get an upgrade for MNF, that would be stellar :lol:
