Well if you don’t like the QBs that’s one thing and that’s a common take but saying “take Bpa” is easy to say, Browns aren’t in that position. They tried that before and got burned by Wentz, the “value pick” with Manziel. They can’t dodge this any longer they are priced into doing their research and taking the best qb on the board.

Nah, dudes traded up for manziel (from us) and traded up for that Norte dame dude too.. I think the Browns biggest problem is (or was) with their evaluation process

It's why I can crack jokes and call dudes idiots who think we didn't know who would be there at 2 when we moved up.. all the local guys were reporting everything that was going down with the team and wentz and the owner and everyone meeting with him and having dinner and all that

Eagles did a ton of homework on wentz and then put him in a position to succeed.. we didn't just move up for any QB, we saw a guy we loved, saw an opportunity (being able to move guys we wanted to get rid of) and took advantage of it

Darnold is going to Cleveland #1, Rosen to the Giants #2 and Allen to the Jets #3, Bills are gonna have to take Lamar or Mason otherwise they traded up for no reason

Have you come to peace with the fact that we're drafting Mayfield?

As long as the Dolphins don't trade up and give away anything I'm fine with the pick at 11.
I believe with the RT17 restructure QB isn't happening early and would say Edmunds of Roquan would be better for them. (Raekwon, Kiko, Roquan would be beastly)... Puts Kiko back in his natural position finally and have some thumpers at LB.

But if they went Baker and didn't give away anything I would be happy about that too.

So now its thank the lawd?

Didn't you call him Alex Jensen? Seemed like you didn't know much about him, but now you're thanking the lawd because your team picked him up?

You stay homering.

Never change

I still keep calling him Alex Jensen for some reason :lol I searched on twitter for it this morning and was like damn nobody’s talking about it?

He’s a huge upgrade to our OL that we desperately needed. No homering needed.

nick. nick. what ya think homie?

Like it a lot.

We had to get out in front of Buffalo & potentially Arizona or Denver. There's a chance whoever we want would be available at 6 but you have to go get your guy.

100027 100027 to me the flaw isn't passing on wentz, cause there is no sure thing..

To me, the flaw was/is whoever was involved that came up with that 'wentz will never be a top 20 QB in the league' evaluation

If those folks are still involved with the evaluation and selection process, I'd be scared as hell if I was a fan.. also anyone involved in picking manziel.. and anyone involved that thought a 2nd and 3rd in trade for mccarron would be a good idea

Yeah the fault is in evaluation sure. Maybe also lack of trust in your staff to develop a player.

Johnson is basically getting a Sixer's JJ Redick deal

I don't think it is a bad move, makes it easier to move on when you have a lot of cap room

The "need any body that has two legs and can breathe" argument.

I can respect that. Not too long ago, I felt the same way with our secondary.

Surprised about Jets' trade after waking up. I dislike the idea of giving up two second rounders this draft year but I am okay with it

Bills are about to sell their soul to Giants for no. 2
