3.0? damn you been slacking.  You can't get into any good schools like that.  Then whos gonna hire some bum that graduated from a bum school?    Kids like you are a waste of opportunity.  Did your parents work their butt off so you could underacheive?  Ungrateful and lazy.  Just save your family the embarrassment and end it all.

Universities don't only take into account cumulative GPAs. They also look at students who make drastic changes like being a 3.0 student to being a 4.0 student so your life isn't completely over yet. You can also explain yourself in your personal statement (college app essay) that you were lazy and unmotivated, but you wrote to NT and all of the lovely members gave you some life changing advice and applied it

As a veteran that served this country, I feel discouraged when I see people like this because it lets me know that I put my life on the line so kids like this could b#@!@ about how their ipod burned out or complain that their life and school are like sooo boring oh my gawd. What to do? What to do?

Dude, burn your damn computer and don't even look at one from now on. Punch yourself in the face and then go to a homeless shelter and tell your story to a random bystander so they can anoint you with their backhand.
Seriously, shut up.
Go tell that to every student who is worried about their education and future.

idgaf if you're some veteran. What? You think just because yous served in the military that'll mean everyone will respect you?

Out of here with that. Excuse me if im worried about my education and my future.

How about you go tell what you wrote to some kid whos ipod burned out.
You don't have to go out of your way to disrespect someone because they were/are in the military. Military members get a lot of respect.

I enjoy reading these posts, cause
A) Dude is focused.
B) Perfect example for OP

My friend got Questbridge, Im hoping you all know what that is. And she only took AP Spanish this year, barely. That's right just 1 AP/Honors course in 4 years.

What does that tell you?

To me I see that it ain't all about grades and extra-curricular stuff its how much you want it and how you can put it on a piece of paper. Or screen I guess.

Don't give up my dude I feel you're pain and I honestly want to slap you around to get the *****assness out of you but I cant so take this as a big Brother kinda advice.

Im at a 3.7 GPA with a 20 ACT composite, did that stop me from applying to Cornell or Columbia, Berkeley or UCLA?

Hell no, although I didnt show it I know I'm better than that and believe that wherever I end up at this September I'm going to study for all those tests like I should

have done and transfer into a nice school if i don't get into one. It isn't even the end of the road for you, you're just over emotional grow some balls and realize that there isn't anything stopping

you but yourself.

P.S. Props to you heat didn't mean to disrespect keep up the good work
