This ep is kinda feeling like a waste to me. It's like a huge re-introduction for Desmond to his fate on the island and w/e he has to do there. Doesn't even try to explain anything about Des and why he's special just more roundabout unnecessary plot.

Also is this a continuity error but the desk lamp in the first pic no longer appears in the rest of the scene. The painting also seems to switch sides of the room or is it 2 separate ones?
