Bruh I seen her at a game last month I thought I was tripping chick is bad

You're thinking from our point of view as overall wrestling fans. I'm speaking in terms of strictly WWE people/fans. The other part is, even look at the stories being told in those matches. AJ had to psyche himself up early in those matches with his trash talk. It was like he was trying to tell himself he could hang with the aura of Big Match John. I haven't seen the Owens matches in awhile, but I know for a fact dude in the first match dude was talking trash the whole time and had to pull out all the stops to beat Cena. Of course, he then fell victim to the 1-2 or 1-3 Cena PPV rule where you'll get the first one, but the next couple are his.

Not taking away from Cena’s greatness, but I just don’t see those two examples as intimidation or being defeated before the match started. I would chalk up AJ’s trash talk to typical heel stuff and KO’s in-ring to wanting to make a name in his first feud on the Main Roster. They definitely came with a little extra because he’s the top guy, but I just don’t think they were intimidated by him.

Unfortunately Cena has set a new standard of what it means to be over. Now if you don't get dueling chants in a match with him, you're not over because the logic is the crowd is only invested in Cena and not you. I think it's dumb because the crowd SHOULDN'T be cheering for the heel. I think the difference between people like AJ, KO, Bryan and Wyatt/Rusev is that the former got chants FOR them with Cena and the latter didn't, and that's probably how they judge you now. They all have clean wins on Cena and Wyatt/Rusev don't.
