During an interview with Collider, Mike Colter was asked if he was exited about future scenes between his character and fellow Hero For Hire Iron Fist, and here's what he said.

"The actor has been cast, but he’s in a basement somewhere. When the time is right, they’ll let him up and tell him where he is. I am [excited]. I’ll get a nice little break, after doing Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Whether I’m in [his show], I don’t know, but there’s The Defenders."

I knew Marvel would get it done soon. The timing makes sense given I think it was the beginning of this year or some time in Dec. they said they were doing the auditions and the whole IF should be Asian or some other race kicked off

Now I'm excited :hat Hope we get the IF series late this year like after JJ S2.

Have yet to watch a single episode of JJ cause I canceled my Netflix subscription and then my xbox one was stolen :rolleyes

Grabbing a PS4 in a couple weeks. Perfect timing for DD s2 and I can finally watch JJ :D

Jon Bernthal Says The Punisher Will Be Difficult To Like In DAREDEVIL
http://geektyrant.com/news/jon-bernthal-says-the-punisher-will-be-difficult-to-like-in-daredevil

Jon Bernthal said some things to IGN about playing The Punisher that sent chills down my spine. After reading his comments about portraying Frank Castle in season 2 of Daredevil, I'm thinking fans are really going to be impressed with his portrayal. This guy gets it! Just hearing him talk about how he plays the role gives me goosebumps!

"I think this guy lives in a world of darkness that no other person in this universe can compare with. My goal here was to put myself in that darkness and bring that up and to never pull punches, to never do half measures, to never be apologetic, to never pursue likability at all, to be completely unapologetic at all times,"

Damn right. You don't have to feel sorry for The Punisher, he doesn't even feel sorry! For those looking for darkness this season, it's looking like Bernthal is going to deliver:

"You can lose the audience by episode 2. They could just be like, 'No matter what happens with this man, no matter what we learn about him, his actions in episode 1 and 2, I can’t get behind. In this day and age, with everything going on, I can’t get behind this man.' I love that because my goal and the team’s goal is to win them back and explain it and fill in the blanks and whether you can get behind him or not, you’ll understand him."

I'm seriously impressed with his analysis of Frank Castle. Bernthal is looking at him at a level on which I never examined the character! I'm ridiculously excited for this season now. If you want to read the full interview, check it out here.

I'm sayin' :lol I'd like to see him stretch his range a bit and try to play a lovable nice family man type and see if he could pull it off or just a real loser lame that gets punked and you feel sorry for him.

I think we might see the family man if they do flashbacks in DDS2. Maybe. Would be cool to see Frank interact with his family.

I doubt they will. Besides Frank Castle still was a hardass when he had his fam.

If crossbones didn't have a burned / messed up face I would've wanted him to murk frank castle and assume the identity of the punisher.

I was worried that they were going to try and make punisher a hero, in 2016 it wouldn't read that way.

That would have been interesting. Frank Castle was a SHIELD agent and he sided with Cap then Hydra offs his family. He knows Hydra works with/for Street level guys so he's murdering them all...

Nah. I want OG comic book history Frank.

Nah, not weird. There's so much marvel stuff out now that people won't be checking out all of it. I don't like the actor who was cast as the punisher so I won't be watching his show if he gets one.

Luke Cage aint even out yet. If you aint hyped for it no big deal. They've barely started promoting it yet.

I'm in for all the Netflix stuff.. I'm out on agents of shield

I didn't care for him in J. Jones. Not a character I feel needs his own show.
I guess just don't watch it then.

Pretty much made sense to me when they announced the 4 names and going off the comics makes sense he's getting his own show.
