Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. * S7 Premieres May27

I have a feeling whatever was chasing Jemma will appear later this season.

But it wasn't wrapped up, all they did was get Simmons from wherever she was.
That's what was wrapped up. I said I didn't like that part of it was wrapped up so quickly. Part of it.

They're not going back to that planet. If we get anything more about it it'll be through Simmons flashbacks of what happened not them actually going there.

Plus I feel like just cuz it was a long time for them they didn't convey that to the fans for us to feel that way about how long Simmons was gone. It's like boom 2nd ep lets dedicate most of the ep to her and get her back. Would've preferred a different approach in doing this but w/e. Like maybe most of an ep following Simmons on that planet trying to survive, trying to figure way to get back on her own, discovering w/e alien **** is on that planet.

I'm sure the actual location will be discovered at some point. She woke up with a shank in her hand ready to defend herself, this isn't going to just get swept under the rug just because she's "back"
Of course her trauma on an alien planet character arc isn't ove. I'm not saying that.

I'm saying where she went was a mystery at the finale but through promos and an on the spot first guess we knew she was on an alien planet for months from their perspective. She gets saved and the portal is destroyed. The whole mystery of the black rock is wrapped up, going to and exploring that planet is wrapped up for now until they pull some character that has a means to get there at some point.

I didn't like how any of that was executed.

I mean the season has so much to deal with. Ward rebuilding Hydra(with Struckers son, which was a cool touch), the Secret Warriors, Inhumans, this new organization we've been introduced to, and Hunter and May trying to take down Ward. Yeah they could've stretched it out, but imo, it's for the better that they got it over with. I don't know if I would've wanted to see Fitz searching for Simmons for like 3 - 5 episodes. Besides it gives us a lot of questions and speculation to deal with. I think that'll create a better arc for the two besides Fitz spending the whole time trying to find her, and Simmons trying to survive.

That rescue mission lasted like 5 minutes. Was kinda lackluster. Would've been better if the portal was able to stay open for an episode and the team went and looked for her.

Finally watched this week's episode. Fitz deserves all the yams.

That dude's reaction when he said: 'Wait, what is she going to do?'

Lol. Nice. Still no issues with the third season.

Yeah, at this point ward is just an annoying scumbag. Should've been killed off last season. I hope they don't keep him around until the final season and wait that long for someone to murk him.

Yeah I wouldn't mind if they kept him on as the free agent anti-hero that works for them sometimes, but this purposeful rebuild hydra **** is silly.

And Jemma would've shanked dude if he surprise wio on her.

I can lowkey see Fitz becoming a villain of some sort somewhere down the line. Bruh has gon through too much.

What if ward is actually the redskull!! I mean,he did return into a human form without the actual red face.I mean why even keep dude around and keep trying to rebuild hydra?? But I'm probably reallyyy reaching here.

Anyone consider the possibility that Simmons is Inhuman? Correct me if I'm wrong but the monolith only reacted when Inhumans and the Asgardian went near it. Whenever the humans went around it, it stayed in solid form.

Simmons. An Inhuman 8o

Interesting theory.

I can't remember who was the first to arrive at the scene at the beginning of the latest episode.

It wasn't reacting at all with Fitz and then some people came to pull him out of there and then the monolith started spazzing 8o

*edit I think one of them was Mack and then the other was Skye. Your theory would make sense.

I'm wondering if any of these characters will have a role in the Inhumans film. I know it's a couple of years, but I mean, since AoS introduced Inhumans to the MCU, they should, right?

it's possible, but i'm thinking they're just using the idea of inhumans to introduce super powers into this series without a million origin stories. terrigen mist+random dude=powers is a lot easier than hashing through an origin story every week. plus they can't say dudes were born with powers because that's a mutant rights no no.
if the show is super popular when the movie comes out maybe a minor tie in like the other MCU movies, but don't expect Daisy/Quake to be running cosmic business with Black Bolt.

Unless they come to take her and she's used as our surrogate in the movie to ask questions we the audience would want the answers to.

Probably not.

I'd be a little shocked if the show is still on air by the time the movie comes out. I figure that's why they're doing all of that Inhumans stuff on the show now.

Yeah it was behind NCIS. Last nights episode had more viewers than the finale of season 2 so thats a good thing. And I can easily see this showing still on air by the time the Inhumans come out. They have so much material they can run with.

:x :{ if true...

NYCC ’15: Inhumans Movie Cancelled By Marvel As Film Goes To War With TV?

At New York Comic Con, it was announced that Marvel Studios would push back their first black solo lead and female solo lead films, Black Panther and Captain Marvel, to accommodate a new project, Ant Man And The Wasp.

This seems like the first public sign of the new Marvel Studios, divorced from the rest of Marvel and reporting directly to Disney as part of a coup by Marvel movie boss Kevin Feige against Marvel CEO Isaac Perlmutter.

The status of the planned Inhumans movie remained unchanged however, Publicly at least.

In the New York bars last night I heard from other well connected sources that the second shoe dropping will be the move of the planned Inhumans movie off the slate completelu.

That was the film most pushed for by the Marvel TV side, which still reports to Perlmutter. And to which Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD has committed to providing three years worth of promotion towards in its storylines, establishing the Inhumans concept to the fans.

Until that point, the TV was mostly an afterthought, having to catch up to the film continuity rather han provide anything for the film’s to use.

But, in the great war of Marvel Film Vs Marvel TV that the Kevin Feige coup began, it looks like the first casualty of that war is the Inhumans…

Wow. A real Marvel Civil War. Anyone else think it's great that people writing these articles are saying they overheard stuff in NY bars? Industry people probably having all sorts of fun during NYCC.
