So i have a Master's Degree in Sport Administration and Bachelor's in Sport Management and still have no full time job in the industry. I have been volunteering/internship at a college athletic department but that is not paying off the student loans

My goal is to work in a college athletic department but that hasn't turned out....

My Work Experience:
2 Years at Division III Athletic Department- Mostly event management but have done various other projects.
Worked For Buffalo Bills as a Guest Service Ambassador one season for a Grad Class
Worked as a Basketball Specialist at a Summer Camp One Summer
Interned for a Professional Hockey Agent one summer
Worked 2 Years in Clemson Athletic Department doing most event management stuff
Interned for GM of a Single A Baseball Team one summer

My question to you NT, what other jobs could i possibly be qualified for outside of the sport industry? I'm willing to move anywhere, but i just need a fulltime job to pay these student loans. Any help is appreciated

I can't really help you but hang in there. Its tough for a lot of ppl including myself.

No lie, your degrees are pretty much useless. I'd look to take up a job anywhere doing anything...just don't let the loans pile up.

Kind of related to your previous work, but have you looked into becoming a trainer? My friend makes crazy money for 20 hours of work per week training at some exclusive gym in NYC. She just has a BA in Sports Medicine.

Edit: Now that I looked at your qualifications again, my suggestion is pretty much irrelevant.

Sorry.

Why would you get your masters in Sports Administration? Sorry to say but those degrees are almost worthless. In fields like that its mostly who you know not what you know. If I were you I would of went the MBA route.

But don't think that you have no options. Keep grinding and keep your networking game top notch. Its gonna be hard, but if you work hard enough everything else will follow.

What kind of potential career should an education like that lead to?

You may have to start off in high school as an AD or something. Try HS before you can move up to the college ranks.

swear on everything I feel for you---but yea, hopefully those links ol' boys posted will help out.

And haze, I'm thinkin' that degree will help in all this gentrification that's goin' on in major cities---condos, mini malls, starbucks, etc. I think dude should be to a city where they are attempting to "revamp" certain locations.....

Me and some dudes at work are planning on buying some land in West Africa later this year, I was wondering if those degrees prepare someone for community planning, drawing up blueprints, etc...

Welp, since you got a master's in that..there's literally tens of thousands of college athletic departments at all levels and minor league professional sports teams along with major sports teams...try a little harder maybe?

...my man graduated at the top of his class..

An Architect or an Urban Planner.  I did both so I would be a bit more marketable out of school.
