I actually think it would be cool to have everyone’s input on a new hat design. I know that sounds easier said then done but if we all go through the design process as a whole, I think we could achieve a hat that the majority of the people would like on this forum. This was done with an Adidas shoe that was put out for the Slap Magazine Message Board and I think as a whole, everyone was pretty happy with the outcome.

That would be pretty dope. They should limit the input to only those that pre order.
Whatever happens we need a grey under brim.

keep the same logos and simplicity just give us more colors like the grey "wool" material
We tried that with the last two runs of t-shirts and it didn't work out very well.i don't know if it's possible, but wouldn't a pre-order system work? Then order that amount, and everybody gets theirs
the first release sold out in few minutes, im sure if you made atleast 300 they would have sold just as fast no problem. i forgot was the first release a little over 100? right
That's just an assumption. Cap City did us a favor on these. We didn't want them to over order and have to deal with persistent stock. We wanted to clear the inventory immediately. Ideally, you want to satisfy as many customers as possible but we don't live in a perfect world with clairvoyant sales forecasts. The next order would be larger, as influenced by some of the data we collected from users who were unable to get a cap on launch day, but it's not exactly scientific to say "well, those sold out fast so I bet you could move 8 times as many EASILY."
Also, I believe there are some limits to a store's overall allocation from New Era - and since we're asking the store to donate all of the profits it's not reasonable to demand a huge chunk of their allocation.
Are there any more NT tees available?
Yeah, in a couple of styles - but I'm not sure about the quantities: nketlk.bigcartel.com
Steez still handles the orders, but his life has become infinitely more complicated after the launch of CounterKicks, so please be patient.
If this happens please make it look better than the previous one.
That's subjective. At the end of the day, we made the product we wanted to make (one that paid homage to OG fitted caps and incorporated the classic look and feel of the site itself), sold through in about 30 minutes, and raised over $2,000 for the Children's Defense Fund.
We listen carefully to feedback, but "design by committee" is often a reduction to the lowest common denominator. Ideally, there should be a clarity of expression in a design and when you try to please everyone, you often please no one.
I'm not opposed to a design contest or something of that nature, but 1) we're not close to that point at the moment and 2) the goal is to get people to focus on what IS - not what "could've been." When you get into a design contest and everyone posts their own individual designs, inevitably people will gravitate towards many different designs and almost all of those people will come away disappointed. Even if you go step by step and have the majority rule on every decision, you still wind up with a design by committee product that everyone tends to have at least some reservation with. Sometimes it's better to trust the chef than to go into the kitchen and try to micromanage every step. There should be a surprise to the product reveal. It should get people talking. And, honestly, it should be a little divisive. If people don't have strong opinions about the product, odds are you've done something pretty boring and expected.
