Hmmm...lets see, he makes a documentary condemning capitalism, then puts it out in movie theaters so he can charge everyone to go see it, so hecan make millions of dollars off of it in our capitalist market. He was on Bill Maher's show the other day complaining that people who don't agreewith Obama need to "shut up and let the president do his job." Now lets replace Obama with Bush, and republican protestors with democrat protestors,you think this idiot would be out there telling them to "shut up and let Bush do his job." Of course not, he'd be out there with a video cameratrying to figure out how he can make a few million off of it....he's such a joke, I can't believe people actually listen to this guy.
No I don't think that is the sole reason he makes movies. I think his intentions are good...mostly. However, my biggest beef is he is not thatdifferent from several media outlets that sensationalize or become great clip editors. There are plenty of websites that have followed up on moore's moviesto show that he is simply manipulating the situation in his favor. Whats more concerning is the people that watch this and immediately feel they knoweverything about the subject presented in his movies. If you want a better understanding of the entire economic downturn I suggest watching some of the PBSspecials thats have been on in recent months.
