Now she can say "CNN " in an annoying way.didnt espn just lose rachel nichols to cnn? seems like they just going with the youth movement
I think it's more like...once these people start to make a name for themselves and they are up for a new contract, ESPN doesn't want to pay them.
They do provide the biggest platform. ESPN is international. NBC, FOX and CBS combined are still behind ESPN/Disney. FOX may have the World Cup, but that's only every four years. ESPNs college football properties including the BCS trumps whatever the other networks can put up.This.I think it's more like...once these people start to make a name for themselves and they are up for a new contract, ESPN doesn't want to pay them.
Espn thinks they can provide the biggest platform so therefore they dont need to shell out top $$, and anyone is essentially replaceable. In reality they don't have the range other networks have in terms of event coverage.
This is true. I do really like NBC Sports Network and NBC's sports coverage in general, so I hope they're able to succeed. They do provide the biggest platform. ESPN is international. Everyone is replaceable at big name companies because they can fill that vacancy in a minute. ESPN didn't pay Erin Andrews because her demands were ridiculous. FOX signed her hoping that it would work out for their CFB, but how did that go? Erin who? The loss of Rachel Nichols, Erin Andrews and other faces won't stop the machine that is ESPN. They produce talent and give them platforms that no other network can, whether people like them or not.
she's back to espn
might have to start watching espn again
Michelle, back where she belongs ......what a failed experiment though
