You’d be surprised! If they are younger and born after ‘95 or so they’re kinda like “um..what’s that?” But they dig it cause it looks cool. They’re fully poseable. If they were born like in ‘90 or before...MAN! Let’s just say the pink ranger is the first figure to get picked up. Ironically she was the most expensive figure. Got her for $275

$275?! I was about to cop the legacy BAF set for that much and talked myself out of it

What?!? That’s how much they’ve gone up? I have them all but boxed up except for the Green & White Rangers. Each one was only like $45-55 when they came out.

Yeah the film made the hype for the SH Figuarts figures skyrocket. I bought the pink ranger, Black ranger and blue ranger for $200+ which is ridiculous but they were almost impossible to find un opened unless paying that price and I wanted them brand new even though I planned on opening them. They’ve gone down a little in price but all still around the same. Eying the green ranger right now unopened and he’s $150+ the SoC Dragon Ceasar/ Dragon Zord is the same price

Man I’ll start playing with them if I take pics but will def send you some. From the Rangers themselves having so many accessories and fully poseable to the zords being able to combine into tank mode and megazord mode and being fully poseable. It’s just too much fun. There’s a pure joy that they give me, it’s unexplainable.

Chicks love it honestly. If anything it’s gotten me more play because it comes off as innocent when I’m clearly not. That room is full of Marvel posters and nostalgia. I’m about to get a Street Fighter 2 champion edition cabinet in there as well. The draws come off on sight honestly, don’t be afraid to let out your inner nerd bro!

I regret only picking up one complete set of the figuarts. I've kept them sealed in their boxes. Got the Green and White Ranger signed so definitely not opening those Luckily they'll be releasing the Red & Green again with the additional civilian head sculpts.

Man it’s awesome, they are pretty well made, mixed with plastic of course and diecast elements, as lamekilla knows, it can get pricey, and there’s definitely a market for this kinda stuff. Some people go all out and buy the actual costumes/weapons that are 1:1 to the real thing.
Most of the actors especially the MMPR are still very involved in the community

They’re a 2015-2016 release. The OG releases every few years in different incarnations, some way more articulate than others, just depends how much quality you want. You can score a plastic decent one for around $50...or you can drop $300+ for a full diecast model

Yea I mean even the cheaper ones disassemble, it’s pretty common

Here’s a high end one for reference but I encourage looking around a bit...you can find a lot of deals on ebay etc...usually people who opened the box to put the figure on display

Yeah I’ve seen the rerelease ofthe red and green ranger coming out with a Austin St. John ad JDF head. The sculpt looks incredible. I may pick up the Red Ranger and keep it sealed. Just bought the rerelease of the OG fliphead red ranger and kept it sealed.

The legacy line is slightly cheaper and is essentially a reissue if the 90’s line of Mighty Morphin megazord s but there’s little articulation although they still look great.

These are the ones I posted in my picture. Preordered it from Big bad toy store last summer and was jaw dropped when it came in. Immaculate is an understatement. The Bandai’s Soul of Chokogin line is special. $300 well spent. The SOC Dragonzord is coming out this summer and yep, I have it preordered
