She's a little girl, 21 isn't old at all, I thought I knew who I was at 25. People go through stages, he's is just on public display. Rocsi from 106 and Park is the biggest fraud ever, but people regard her as a host of a "hip-hop" show. She talks with slang, double negatives etc ...but there's a clip of her on some reality TV show sounding like she's straight out of Laguna Beach.Darius Rucker grew up country; he's not trying to be country.
Eminem grew up struggling and grew up around hip-hop; he doesn't have to 'try' to relate.
Miley? She's trying to be what we're seeing.
Big difference; HUGE difference. I'm not knocking her. Just saying there's a difference in Darius doing something he grew up on and Eminem doing something he grew up on... and this chick making an effort to be something entirely different.
But this isn't the first example of a cute little daddy's girl turning into a freak-nasty freak... and it damn well won't be the last.
I'm sure after she's had her run with "hip-hop" she'll return back to Laguna Beach Rocsi. And that's one of the many perils of hip-hop, it's for the YOUNG, REBELLIOUS, and EXPRESSIVE youth. Always has been. But people lack so much interpersonal communication with blacks that they placate us and coddle us becoming "white apologists" and making "hip-hop" ours. Or associating aspects of it with "us".
If dudes have time maybe y'all should watch Wild Style on Netflix, it's agreed it's one of the first documented videos of "hip-hop" and its essence. However it's a mixture of people and cultures and the most "gangsta" person on the documentary was a white guy who said he'd shoot someone over his graffiti and MEANT it.
We don't exclusively own jazz or hip-hop, no more than whites exclusively owned basketball, football, baseball, rock or country music.
People are people at the end of the day, let that girl cook if not that's like saying "Nomad you're black and pushing 30 years old, your people own "grills", hip-hop, bandannas and gold rope chains, you and black people worry about that, let me and Miley Cyrus run the country"
