Miley Cyrus Vol. Trying to hard!

Darius Rucker grew up country; he's not trying to be country.

Eminem grew up struggling and grew up around hip-hop; he doesn't have to 'try' to relate.

Miley? She's trying to be what we're seeing.

Big difference; HUGE difference. I'm not knocking her. Just saying there's a difference in Darius doing something he grew up on and Eminem doing something he grew up on... and this chick making an effort to be something entirely different.

But this isn't the first example of a cute little daddy's girl turning into a freak-nasty freak... and it damn well won't be the last.

She's a little girl, 21 isn't old at all, I thought I knew who I was at 25. People go through stages, he's is just on public display. Rocsi from 106 and Park is the biggest fraud ever, but people regard her as a host of a "hip-hop" show. She talks with slang, double negatives etc ...but there's a clip of her on some reality TV show sounding like she's straight out of Laguna Beach.

I'm sure after she's had her run with "hip-hop" she'll return back to Laguna Beach Rocsi. And that's one of the many perils of hip-hop, it's for the YOUNG, REBELLIOUS, and EXPRESSIVE youth. Always has been. But people lack so much interpersonal communication with blacks that they placate us and coddle us becoming "white apologists" and making "hip-hop" ours. Or associating aspects of it with "us".

If dudes have time maybe y'all should watch Wild Style on Netflix, it's agreed it's one of the first documented videos of "hip-hop" and its essence. However it's a mixture of people and cultures and the most "gangsta" person on the documentary was a white guy who said he'd shoot someone over his graffiti and MEANT it.

We don't exclusively own jazz or hip-hop, no more than whites exclusively owned basketball, football, baseball, rock or country music.

People are people at the end of the day, let that girl cook if not that's like saying "Nomad you're black and pushing 30 years old, your people own "grills", hip-hop, bandannas and gold rope chains, you and black people worry about that, let me and Miley Cyrus run the country"

At least Kanye tried with the portrait of the hanging tree( I not defending his child like ways and personal life) but when I saw that it did leave chills down my spine to see him do that at this gentrified Brooklyn comedy show.
Yeezy's performance stole the show, i too got chills afterwards all 3x i saw it when the VMAs aired since nothing else was on tv

Style Wars is another great early hip-hop documentary. I highly recommend watching it.

It's crazy to me how some of yall think it's a given that most dudes would smash Miley Cyrus. It's one thing for dudes who think she's attractive and looks good, I mean I guess yall are just in to that type but you other dudes thinking everybody wants to smash cuz she's a celeb or rich got problems.

She's one of the easier passes amongst females period.

dude obviously didnt see Gaga's mass
So I can't be attracted to Gaga AND Miley? If either one let me smash I'm not saying no like people are implying in this thread. I give Miley Cyrus a couple of years to ruin that body by getting some fake Nicki Minaj butt implants. She's a skinny girl, it wouldn't look right.

:lol I would not smash Miley even if she gave me the opportunity. I don't find her attractive at all and I have pretty low standards

Miley is busted. Face is a 6 at best with a typical skinny white girl who doesn't work out body. Overall she's like a 4-5 imo. B is whack. Sure I'd probably hit it. I've hit worse.

Gaga is busted. Face is a 3 at best (don't give me that BS, go google her w/o makep or watch that naked video she did). Her body looked solid at the VMA, but looked awful in that naked video. Overall she's a 5, only due to that ***. B is whack. Of course I'd hit. I've hit worse.

Gaga's ugly self > Miley's ugly skinny non athletic with NO body self.

Okay so " she's a little girl that doesn't know herself", so if that is acceptable then why do we come down so hard on black/brown youth for sagging,slang,etc....
So because she is trying to find herself we give her a pass... Sorry bro that excuse is not good enough for me, because the same eye lense that looks at young black men as threats are the same eye lense that look at this chick having fun and evolving... Jazz,Rock n Roll, Hip hop, you name it has been stolen and a white face is put to it to proclaim it as theirs.
Elvis is the proclaimed king of rock n roll
But everybody says Chuck Berry and Little Richard are... So I am just supposed to ride with that idea, naw see that's the complacent thinking that has my people brainwashed to this day..people don't see anything wrong with it but I can name so many actresses that got with black dudes or did movies with black dudes and as soon as they get on, you never see them around one or even in a movie with one....Once again why is doing anything "urban" considered rebellious and a phase???
Miley,Robin Thicke,Justin Timberlake are winning just like anything else that is packaged for white consumption to make it acceptable.... But let me walk out the house right now with some J's, a hoodie and my hat backwards and see how far I get or the presumptions about me...
At the end of my tangent, all that **** was a Minstrel Show and pretty much showed me what the landscape of music is acceptable.
I mean KDOT, J.Cole had some very conscious and inspirational joints this year but Macklemore wins for that... Some random kid named Austin whatever won over The Weeknd( who is way more talented), you end the show with Katy Perry in front of the Brooklyn Bridge( why is Jayz not even present), say what you want but the message was clearly relayed to me Sunday Night... But it's okay Miley and Bieber are just going through a phase and I should just be happy that hip hop culture and black America can keep getting bastardize and having double standards place on us
"Forget this Man"
Jayz, "What More Can I Say"
"Twerk Miley"

You make a very good argument here :lol, though I wouldn't at all say Miley is ugly

lol how many celebs look good without makeup cmon now ... majority are average - below average without all the glam

Majority tho? A lot of celebs are famous BECAUSE they look good.
laugh.gif
Especially the ones with little to no talent.
yeah they look good with the glam and photoshopped etc ... next time you hit the grocery store or walmart grab one of those magazines by the candy or w/e. I usually grab one for laughs and look at the pics while im in line especially at WalMart since they only have like 3 registers open when its packed in there. Anyways they always have pics of those "pretty" celebs with no make up and un photoshopped bodies

whats attractive/pretty/above average to one man is different for the next

The aging ones maybe. You can pretty much say that about most women, but the fact remains a lot of people are celebs because they are attractive word to Megan Fox.

I remember the OG twerk team post on NT and their group was larger. Like 5 or 6 of those hose gracing my computer screen. :hat

Y'all take **** too serious.

You all should be ashamed of yourself for choosing twerking as the racial attribute that is sacred to black people and Miley Cyrus is banned from doing so
laugh.gif
. It's disgusting that y'all are co-signing this white writer feeling as if it's his job to say that twerking and wilding out should only be for black people. One of those "I'm not racist, I have a black friend" type of dudes.

Right under this thread I see "Previous Thread: Twerking A Scientific Explanation From ABC News" . . . why is this such a big deal . . . I have never been to a party where the girls WEREN'T doing it lol . . . what did people do at parties in the 80s and 90s or rather, what did WHITE people do at parties in the 80s and 90s.

You do realize this is the beginning of the end, right?

Word to "Bling Bling".

We gotta keep something sacred, bruh.

Its only a big deal because it hit TV .. if it were still an internet thing then there wouldnt be a problem.

Personally i find it disturbing for any race .. whole this isnt /shouldnt be a race discussion.

So can we get back to foolishness and jokes. First 10 pages of this thread delivered but as of late too many people expressing their beliefs on society
