I hope I'm not part of that. Haven't had a plethora of experience with beers. Def working on it every time I get groceries.

Yeah...make it an official beer thread.

Racer 5 gets me pretty dizzy fast.

And I love how I live near Japantown. I can get a 12 pack of Sapporo for $7.99.

i blame it on advertising and sheep-like consumerist attitudes.  most of the beers posted here weren't picked by you, they were chosen by the ads that chose it for you.

was it the "vortex bottle" that made you purchase that six pack?  or the "aluminum pint"?  or maybe you just genuinely like the taste of water with a hint of piss(for coloring)?

and now that stella artois has gotten heavier advertising(air) time budget in the past few years, people praise it like they found the fountain of youth.

you will not find the best or your favorite beer in a national chain grocery store, just like you won't find the "best" sneakers at footlocker.

Generally, how are Hefeweizen beers?

Anyone in CT, check out City Stream in downtown Hartford, they brew some good beers. Was there yesterday to celebrate two friends 21.
