I was reading on Twitter awhile back about a story of a gentleman who was going through a rough stretch in his life. He ended up meeting Fred and two things stood out from there interaction...when they met Fred asked, "did you grow up as one of my neighbors"? and when they were finished speaking the writer apologized for making him late for his appointment and Fred responded, "Sometimes you are right where you need to be."
