How much does an agent make a year (avg) after working a year or two in the industry? Is the pay commission? How does somebody like Eric (from Entourage) make so much money, just be repping Vince? 9I know it's a TV show but is it similar in real life)?

Are all these connections that people make about the illuminati secret societies and stuff, are all of those connections just coincidences or just people trying to hard to make something out of nothing?

I think ALOT of these youtube videos made are REACHING...but sometimes when I do feel like looking up stuff about the Illuminati/Conspiracies..etc..it's alot of stuff that's hard to ignore....but who knows the truth? A huge actor like Will Smith or Tom Cruise could come out tommorow and EXPOSE all the "secrets" but how would we know to believe them...would we believe them or just blow it off?

Like wall street guys agents get a small base salary plus a commission based bonus. after you make agent its about 35-55K plus a bonus which can be many times your base.
Managers take 15% from clients while agents take 10%
if vince get 20MM a movie, eric makes 3MM. Those numbers change for the biggest stars in real life though. Matt Damon doesn't pay 10%, since hes such a money maker he pays 2-3% but he makes more movies a year and still gets his normal salary (or quote)
Also top agencies rep A+ level stars for free because they can poach other clients more easily.
Imagine going to a up and coming young star who is being pursued by all the major agencies, if say I made Will Smith, he's signing with you.

We already discussed this and I THOUGHT we had an understanding but I see that you were still taking pot shots and the respect is lost. Your just some kid trying to throw your two cents in because you worked at "the biggest agency in the business" and have " a unique vantage point of the WHOLE industry" that last statement is enough for you not to be taken seriously by anyone with true knowledge of the industry. You weren't in meetings pulling in talent or going and getting clients work. STOP IT! You haven't created content and held pitch meetings with execs and been involved in the developement of content and marketing shows. You haven't sat down with gay V.P.s from different studios and seen how tight knit their clan is. Or lost friends to the industry through coke or acting hollywood. I don't need credit from not a one person on this site. I could give a %#%* whether or not YOU believe me. I'm just sharing an experience and for you to be all pompous and tell me I'm wrong because it doesn't fit with yours is extremely arrogant.

Im Will Smiths age and grew up near him in Philly. He's just another middle class dude from the neighborhood. People living pathetic lives cling on to this complete garbage. 1/2 the country thought "Mikey" from the Life cereal commercials died because pop rocks candy blew up in his stomach. People think Elvis and Tupac are alive. People think if you walk under a ladder you're gonna have 7 years bad luck. BULL SHIP. Dont be a typical American moron who believes in this crap. How can you judge Griffs experience though? Who are you to judge whether or not what he is saying correlates to his reality. He has far more experience in the industry than you. See you guys missed the whole point its MY experience just like you have YOURS! To sit here and discredit someone because you believe they are salty or a failure is extremely pompous. ^^^that is generally true WP for most assts. but i have been on many pitch meetings taking notes and learning. MY agency is not the biggest, its the second biggest. If you say an agency isnt at the center of the industry than what is?
a UNIQUE vantage point, doesnt mean the BEST vantage point. that clear right? I didnt mean to imply I know more than another vantage point, but the agency is the hub of the industry. right? That affords me a UNIQUE perspective, no more and no less.
