.

I'm really looking forward to both games though.

Yo, so is the My Player mode going to only have you play as Jordan or will there be two different versions of it this year?

Before people nitpick, sports games are set at the easiest difficulty so that anyone can jump into it.

Game looks fine to me.

Looks like Mike Wang brought in the player movement from Live, and just slapped it onto 2k's system (which was all they really needed to do to improve last years player movement).

presentation looks really sharp, players look extra authentic (especially LeBron and Kidd; LeBron has his tats, and Jason kidd looked realistic when he had the ball)

wish they showed off the jumpers though.

When Michael Jordan was first announced as the "NBA 2K11" cover athlete, gamers celebrated the return of the greatest player to ever lace up a pair of kicks. Sneaker heads, on the other hand, only wanted to know what pairs of kicks virtual MJ would actually be wearing.

That's because in past "NBA 2K" games, Nike has only allowed 2K Sports to feature a select few pairs of Jordans per title.

But now that the game is all about His Airness, the kick floodgates have finally been opened.

"There are two legacies of Michael Jordan, his playing and his brand," explains "NBA 2K11" producer Erick Boenisch. "And for this game, the Jordan brand guys at Nike were finally asking for us to incorporate all of their shoes into our game. This is something we wanted for years, so we were really excited that this year with Michael, they really got on board with us.

"We have so many shoe heads into our game that when we put out our first trailer for 'NBA 2K11', people were doing freeze frames and capturing screen grabs of the Space Jam shoes he has on in the video. They cut out Michael entirely and put a little box around the shoes to show off that the Space Jams are in the game. All I have to say is people like this are going to be so happy this year."

That's because as gamers play through "NBA 2K11" they will constantly be rewarded with new pairs of cyber shoes. There are 40 shoes total in the game including 25 pairs of Air Jordans along with the CP3s, Melo 5s, and other shoes from the Jordan line to fill out the closet. But it's not about scoring 80 points in a game or grabbing 22 rebounds in order to unlock certain pairs. It's all about time invested.

"The way they unlock is every couple of hours you get a new pair," explains Boenisch. "The shoes also have attributes on them, so this becomes really beneficial both in My Player and MJ Creating a Legend mode. And shoes can be unlocked anywhere in the game, whether you're playing online or franchise or practice mode. Your timer is always running and shoes are always unlocking.

"And the order you get them in is random. It's strategically random where the rarest shoes in real life are the hardest to get and are unlocked toward the end while the common ones are unlocked upfront. But if you and I are playing next to each other at the same time, we're going to unlock shoes in a different order. So you can show your friend that you got the Jordan 12s, but maybe he got the 1s and 23s."

And with attribute bonuses based on how rare the shoe is, it looks like gamers are going to be glued to "2K11" in order to make MJ fly a little higher thanks to his favorite pair of Jordans.

Click on a particular shoe and you even get a paragraph that explains its significance, the history of the shoe, what inspired the look, and even what Michael's comments were when he first saw them.

Adds Boenisch: "Back when the Jordan 1s were introduced, everyone in the league only wore white shoes, and these were red with the black swoosh. Michael saw them and said something like, 'I can't wear that shoe. Those are devil colors.' But he wore them and the NBA fined him every single game he wore them that season and the Bulls paid the fine. History was made right there. Shoes became culture in the NBA and it was all started with Michael.

"That's why we're so proud to have him in the game this year, not only as a character, but as a brand."

Actually looks pretty good besides at :51 they still have the annoying fastbreak animation with the pick leading to an out on you. Besides that it looks pretty fluid and i won't comment on any defense since you guys said it was on easiest difficulties but so far
