Me, I prefer a PG who creates for his teammates and makes them better. Steph does that in about 5 different ways not including being a good passer himself.
That’s the definition of a point guard. Not a “rack up assist guard”.

Of course Steph makes it easier for Dray because Steph is demanding double and triple teams, but Dray is the heart and guts of that team. Period. I ain't seen Dray get locked down by K. Love in crunch time of game 7 when it matters most. Take Dray off that team and they are severely softer.

Steph is the most impactful player of this era. Used to be "Your best player can't be a PG (historically not true)" or "Jump shooting teams don't win chips".
Now look at this ****. Steph birthed all these ******. Sidenote: I'm not arguing Steph is better than Magic. Magic the best PG ever and probably gonna stay there.
