bron constantly getting compared to the ghost of chicaco and the shedded snakeskin of los angels lmao
bron, steph, kd are players that transcend their peers so there's that

it will always matter in this league
gotta keep the same energy for every player that's good enough that they transcend their peers
bron, steph, kd
bean and timmy when they were here as well
when you are THAT good it gets to a point where that "lets wait until he retires" junk is over lol
true true. good post.

I didn't even watch First Take today. Steph is a top 5 player in the league and the best PG in the game, why isn't that enough?

Why y'all continue to try and force stuff that ain't true?

It’s a “discussion” if he’s even that right now. Again, it’s not a consensus that he’s the “2nd best PG ever” or even the “best pg”.

It took Steph going off against the Blazers in the WCF THIS YEAR for the sports media to finally realize that. They been calling him a 2nd option, who’s “lost it”...when he’s led the warriors in scoring the past 3 years...and split with KD in one post season. Misconceptions all around. PTI/Chuck etc just yesterday, asked if Steph is back in the “top 5 convo”. These are real things man.

I know. Clicks etc. But in real life, people will turn sour and look at you funny if you say some **** like Steph a top 5 player or 2nd best pg ever. For real.

Kobe slander wont be tolerated.

Still want to see another player do what he did with what he didnt have those years he was in a stacked west making the playoffs and giving 1 seeds and 2seeds a run for they money.

Lebron found out this year how hard this was to do.

I have yet to see a player pull off what Kobe did.

He’s lucky he only saw Dirk once.

I remember when the 73-9 Warriors were playing garbage teams in the West during the playoffs and people were comparing Curry to Jordan. Then the Warriors finally played an elite team and Curry laid an egg in the finals and they lost. The Warriors have been playing garbage teams all playoffs. Zero NBA finals MVPs. I sincerely hope Milwaukee or Toronto provides better competition.
that elite team...went down 3-1 paw paw. curry had recurring injuries, draymond got a game suspension (whom 90% of reporters and analysts say if he play game 5, gsw wins the series) iggy got hurt, and momentum was lost. and also, even with that, if harrison barnes literally just made 2 more shots, warriors win. swallow your spit.

Curry>>>>Magic

Curry>>>>>>Bron. that 4th ring gon hit different.

he done passed magic when he became an unanimous MVP. he's the best player since MJ retired. steph could retire today and his resume speaks for itself. he doesn't need to notch any more years or accumulate any more awards

Scorching hot take lol.

Why does Steph grey the injury excuse for 2016? Kobe played with a broken finger on his shooting hand and bone spurs and won a chip. Steph choked in 16 plain and simple and had they won Draymond was going to be named MVP.

My boy once told me most point guards who have played in the league were better than Steph. Then told me Steph is top 20 and that's being generous.
Told me Steph don't grab boards and then when I told him the numbers called them lucky boards. Said he don't go after them like Russ does.
Said he aint nothing more than a good shooter whose team sets too many screens for him to get open. This is real ****. He's not an outlier. I wish he was.
Please stop with these sorry comparisons. Magic is great and so is Steph, but lets not act like Magic changed anything any players due on the court that wasnt done already.
Oh word? Please provide me with a list of guys over 6’5” who were the primary ball handlers and playmakers on their teams before Magic. Thanks.

Also, “do”, not “due”.

My mans told me Steph can’t finish at the rim. Then I told him he’s one of the best finishers st the rim...and sent him an article and heat map that he’s a better finisher at the rim than Kyrie/Russ...and he completely disregarded it :lol. Dahntay Jones last year said Steph wasn’t even a Top 10 player in the league.

But according to @lil fish & MVP MVP we “making it up”...

NT gotta be like one of the only places where there an understanding of who Steph is. SVP summed it up perfectly the other day in relation to his much needed #StephBetter rant the other day :lol

"Steph can't lead a team. He doesn't get enough assists."
"He led them to 73 wins and averages 5 assists for his career."
"That's just cause the team is really good."
"So he's not?"
Followed by some nonsense about FMVP's and 3-1 and how well Mookie Blaylock played. In here is not the barbershop. Our hot takes are NOTHING.
The barbershop is out there and it's expansive. There's way more barbershop ****** than blog boys and they way more ignant.

Here we go with the Curry injuries. We not rolling.
NO other super star gets to use that excuse, yet y'all wanna let Curry slide.

Come again.

Curry choked in 2016 and gets flack all the time. It happens even to the best of the best, they have bad series and playoff runs. Tragic Johnson, Lebron 11 etc
I don't get where this "he doesn't get slandered much comes from"
He gets it from media and fans like crazy. Yall want it to be one way buts it's the other way.
