Kobe had recurring injuries, bynum got ejected, Pau was heart broken and momentum was lost

@wavycrocket Steph gets less than the standard slander that every other all time great gets. You can nitpick all you want.

My issue isn't that it's the Bistephuals on here elevating him to a pedestal he's not earned yet as far as all time and even in the moment his current standing in the league. He's not a better player than Kevin Durant and y'all take that as slander somehow. Doesn't make any sense.

Come again.

Curry choked in 2016 and gets flack all the time. I don't get where this "he doesn't get slandered much comes from"
He gets it from media and fans like crazy. Yall want it to be one way buts it's the other way.

I haven't seen anyone on here make an excuse for Bron.
In fact, he got cooked for coming out with that cast on. That was a terrible look.
Steph chocked in 2016. That's the bottom line. Curry is the only superstar on here that constantly gets the injury excuse.

This thread is really trash on non game days. Y’all spending pages arguing what they saying on 1st take and undisputed :lol :{

We got all summer to discuss legacies and ****.

I mean I guess I understand, the warriors are gunna run through the finals again so what is there to discuss really.

What doesn't make sense is why KD never finished the job without Steph but with him he has all his rings.

Yes KD is a great player top 3 current for anyone but what has he done with out Wardell? What did he change about the game?

Has KD beat Steph in a series? Until he joined him how did KD fair against Lebron and co? Same goes for Harden and Westbrook.

I get the league is all about players but can we also remember that they are teammates and there is only 1 ball out there? Curry might be the most laid back low key superstar we have seen, literally following the Dr J model (off the court).

Currys playoff stats better then Kobe tho. Curry is actually underrated to what the casual fans and media thinks about him. Curry the 2nd best pg of all time and a top 15 player no one hyping him up to be on a level he isn't. It's the other way around. People want to disrespect his legacy and act like he isn't that good. Yall play to much

Oh I don't know win ROTY, 4 scoring titles, a league MVP, be a 5 time all NBA 1st team player and 7x all star before joining Wardell. No biggie.

What your suggesting is the Lebron/Wade dynamic that somehow Wade winning a title before Bron made him a better player, despite all Bron's accomplishments before coming to Miami. It doesn't fly.

Steph had his chance to cement himself as the best player in the world in 2016, but he blew it in spectacular fashion.

And don't think I don't notice how having 1 more chip than KD somehow supersedes everything else among some of these Bistephuals when they've specifically been on the other side of the argument when it comes to other players being compared.

My boy once told me most point guards who have played in the league were better than Steph. Then told me Steph is top 20 and that's being generous.
Told me Steph don't grab boards and then when I told him the numbers called them lucky boards. Said he don't go after them like Russ does.
Said he aint nothing more than a good shooter whose team sets too many screens for him to get open. This is real ****. He's not an outlier. I wish he was.

Your boy has a skewed view of the pg position.

I also take it he never watched Curry play for Mark Jackson?

Get that clown outta here.

Russ name get brougth up lol. Im taking J Kidd over this clown all day everyday
Please stop with these sorry comparisons. Magic is great and so is Steph, but lets not act like Magic changed anything any players due on the court that wasnt done already.

Oh word? Please provide me with a list of guys over 6’5” who were the primary ball handlers and playmakers on their teams before Magic. Thanks.

Also, “do”, not “due”.
Rick Barry
Oscar Robertson was 6 foot 5
Magic also wasnt the first point forward. A GOAT for sure but not the first. What did the league have to change for Magic?

Dudes is funny while the pace is up there in the NBA I never saw Magic have to break a legit press against his peers, he wasnt even the point at MSU. Magic was a bad man but again I asked how has he changed the game?
