Lol Cleveland almost did what? They had one good game man. They lost 4-0. That's not almost doing anything. If they won game one, they lose 4-1.
When a team led by a great player gains the upper hand, winning the first game, that great player be it LeBron or Kawhi, would know how to use it as leverage against the opponent. Cleveland almost won that first game last year, and they collapsed mentally after losing, while being so close to winning.

Why we gotta wait til 9:00 dawg????

I agree with my former Laker fan bruh turned Warriors fan. Cavs needed a all time great game from Bron just to have a chance to win game 1.

Game one, LeBron and Cleveland played the perfect game in order to beat GS. That late game flub by JR, changed the ending. If the Raptors win game one, they can place pressure on the psyche of GS, being that they do not have anyone to keep Kawhi busy on the defensive end. Last year, LeBron had to contend with KD. The first game can set the tone for the rest of the series.
Nah lebron and Lue gave up as dumb as jr was the game was tied

With Durant out, Kawhi will not have the same distractions that LeBron had. He will have less pressure than LeBron. The Raptors are also a better defensive team than Cleveland was last year.

If you look at it that way, you would also think Conor McGregor "almost" beat Floyd Mayweather because McGregor seemed to have the upperhand in the early rounds. He didn't stand a chance, nor did the Cavaliers in last year's Finals.

Bad comparison, because McGregor was never a professional boxer, and Mayweather is an all time great boxer.

The game was played, then lost at the end through a mental error, unawareness. Without Durant, who Golden State had gotten due to LeBron's prowess, Kawhi does not have that same distraction. I think that Toronto is better coached as well, definitely a better defensive team.
