Bad comparison, because McGregor was never a professional boxer, and Mayweather is an all time great boxer.

The game was played, then lost at the end through a mental error, unawareness. Without Durant, who Golden State had gotten due to LeBron's prowess, Kawhi does not have that same distraction. I think that Toronto is better coached as well, definitely a better defensive team.
I can replace McGregor with any other opponent that was a professional boxer such as Mosley or Cotto. All had moments early in the fight when they rocked Mayweather and IF they pressed more, they would've won. But it didn't happen. Besides, the gap between the Cavaliers and the Warriors was just as wide as Mayweather and McGregor. It was basically a G League team and Lebron vs the Western Conference All Stars.

Congrats Warriors fans on the three peat. Gonna use the time during games to watch Mad Men. Series ain’t even gonna be worth watching. Warriors winning every game by 30 points.

One is a team sport, with the other being an individual sport. I understand that you are talking about skill, but in hoops, as with Villanova v. Georgetown back in the eighties, all it takes was a good game plan, and for players to execute. Unfortunately, JR's flub broke the psyche of Cleveland. If Cleveland wins that first game, their confidence would have been sky high.

I don’t think cleveland wins the series but I believe it would’ve gone 6 if they won game 1.

That was one of the most deflating plays/losses ever. After the JR blunder you knew they had no shot at winning in OT and it trickled over.

Well of course not everything in my analogy matches the Warriors vs Cavs. The main points to compare were that in both cases the inferior side had some early success, but there was NO WAY it was sustainable. Comparing two D1 teams to Warriors vs Cavs is too flattering to the Cavs. It was more like a D1 team vs a JUCO team.
