Pump 20th Anniversary x Colette. Ordered these on Sunday and they just came in the mail. Fastest shipping I ever gotten. Not bad for $45 shipped.
Question, is it true some of the older pump retro's didn't have a functional pump? I noticed the pump don't work on these. Kind of stupid to retro this shoe without a working pump.
Interesting. Yeah, that makes no sense. The whole design and concept is based on that pump function. You'd think they would pay more attention to that.In my experience pumps are very hit or miss when it comes to functioning properly. It's pretty disappointing considering most vintage ones still work perfectly and far better than retros...and they're over 20 years old. I don't know why Reebok can't do some better quality control.

All my pump 25's work fine. Some better than others. But on pairs I was able to buy in stores like Packer and Extra Butter, I checked the functionality of the pumps before buying.
Yeah the 25's I know work but I'm talking about the older ones. Like these Colette's I just picked up. Their from the 20th anniversary and the pumps aren't functional which sucks. I feel you on checking them out before you buy, I always like to try on my shoes before I decide to buy them or not but when copping online you don't really have that option to choose. All my pump 25's work fine. really? I would think those Shaqnosis pumps where good. If Reebok is reading this. COME ON MAN!!! Where's the quality control at??!!!I didn't buy mine in stores so didn't get to test them but I've bought mine from many different sources and many have the same issue: weak or non functioning pumps. My Shaqnosis pumps were so bad I returned them and got another pair but...same problem--the pumps don't function. If you have a pair of functioning vintage pumps you probably know how well they work compared to th e retros.

wow, that's crazy that you have to go through all that just to get your shoe working right. To think all the money we're spending on these shoes and they can't get something that simple right..smh. What's the point of having a pair of Pumps with a pump that doesn't work? I know that had to irk you.I hear you fam. Only 3-4 out of 12 I was able to check and to be honest I got a bum pair of Atmos 25's from Sneaker Politics online, then i had to re buy a good pair, then sold the non working pair. Foot patrol pair I bought at the EB Rockville center location. Pump worked fine but the release valve had a kink in the tubing. I pulled the release valve out, took the tube off, cut it, unkinked it, and reassembled.
I know a few guys here have definitely had the same issue. I want a functioning pump no matter what. I still wanna track down a Shaqnosis pump, but if they're that bad. It definite sucks that the one feature many of us want is a big goose egg.
that's a great idea
Reebok should use the "crowdfunding" model like Eastwood Guitar
..... they take suggestions from their customers, throw a few of these suggestions out there with a "funding goal"
..... take preorders with half $$ up front
...... if they reach the threshold for the model, the guitar gets made and you pay the difference when the guitar is made
...... if the guitar doesn't get funded, they refund your deposit.
Any news on Adidas letting reebok go?
Any new retros for 2016? Or were lookin forward to another million of ventilator-fury-collabs?
