At least is a genuine material and not some synthetic garbage. Reebok runners have a lot bigger fallowing than the other brands in Europe and especially Japan.

Well, this year it's all about capitalizing on the 25th anniversary of the Ventilator ala Asics with their Gel-lyte III. Also, I imagine Reebok is fully cognizant of the cash cow that is the current runner's market so they're trying to carve out their niche and grab a larger piece of pie so to speak by retroing some of their more renowned models.Apart from the limited issue releases I just don't know how Reebok gauges thirst/demand for Ventilators. I see more cats rocking NB, Asics, Saucony than retro Reebok runners. Do these shoes have a cult following in other parts of the word besides N.America?

Yeah I know what you are saying, but to be honest I will take suede any day instead of fuse, synthetic leather, patent leather and all that fake garbage.
I understand people wanting the retros to have real quality materials but the new shoes are performance based. The athletes are bigger, faster. So the synthetics cater to that. The price is the problem to me. Like the LeBrons but Dann near $300 for his sig
So you think the fuse will hold longer and stronger than thick full grain leather, I am not too sure about that. For me its the marketing at their best, convincing the customer that the raw materials from the 90's are no good and we should all switch to plastic synthetics. Last time I checked, top fission brands like Armani, Versace, Hugo Boss and so on are still using top quality leathers for their shoes, I wonder why? Heck even the local US based and most foreign producer of cowboy style boots are producing almost 95% products using genuine leather materials, from a variety of animals. So again, my believe is that giants like Nike and Adidas are using the plastic simply to save money, just like they all shifted production to China instead of Korea, for the same monetary reason.
