***New Reebok Pick-Ups, Release Info, etc.***

Damn man, that really sucks!

How can Reebok still put them out if they're defective?  :{
There have been a few discussion in here regarding Pumps and their functionality. Some guys seem to care if the Pumps work...I am one of them. If I'm buying a Pump I want it to function to the best of it's ability. All Pumps I have work, some better than others, but they still work. But for some it's not a deal breaker and they can live without it. I get that...so some people might just not raise an eyebrow at them not working. Plus there is always the chance that my pair is not the norm. And a few anecdotal stories about busted Pumps don't represent the product as a whole.

Is it me or did the 1st model of the Battleground retro in 2004 and then again in 2009? Or was that just left over inventory from the 04 release that was posted back up on PYS in 09 because that seems like the only spot that carried them

Hey buddy, I have the 2004 Battlegrounds retro in my collection. I'm at work now but when I get home, I can snap a pic of the box (they're DS but I plan on breaking them out soon. They are built like tanks). These were bought at Reebok on South St in Philly back in the day. :)

I had the same problem. My first pair did not have functional pumps. It felt as though there was a piece of stiff cardboard in the tongue under the pump. I returned them and got another pair...same exact problem. I did a YouTube review on them...very disappointed. I kept the second pair but haven't worn them yet. I'm very on the fence about buying another pair of Reebok Pumps until they fix this problem. Until then I'm trying to find vintage Pumps.

They were only retroed in 2004 and the pumps are not as good as the originals.

Speaking of non working Pumps, does anyone know how to fix vintage Pumps that are no longer functioning?

Is it the pump/airbag itself or the release valve? I've fixed a bunch of the new valves.

I think it's the airbag/pump. One shoe works fine but the other does not inflate.
Oh man...I have no fixes for the airbag, unless you wanted to unstitch the tongue and search for a hole/tear. I have a hole in my 24 Kilates 25 pump. Right next to the ball. Thinking of going in, patching, and restitching.

Newest pickup and maybe my #1 pickup of the year with the LimitEDitions Ventilator.

And for a steal at around $70 shipped. Love these.

Got these in from Packer's BF 50% off sale. Highly recommend the purchase even if at full retail.  WELL worth it!!! These are simply fantastic and frankly, I'm surprised there isn't more buzz surrounding them.  Quality is next level and the colorway is flawless!  Gum outsole is the cherry on the sundae too!

Flat-out...the peeps @PACKER SHOES  smashed these!

Nice scoop @SoleFreedom1013.

DO NOT SHOP at ONENESS boutique!!!

**They have a hidden 15% restock fee for any cancelled item**

I contacted them to cancel a order (NOT SHIPPED and still processing) after finding out my wife ordered the same shoe(Diamond Supply NT1) that I did for myself. She was trying to surprise me for Xmas. I literally spoke to a rep on the phone and asked them to cancel. She told me to just send a email to the [email protected]. I left her know I did that before calling and just called to confirm.

1 Hour later, I get email saying item shipped. I immediately wrote them back and asked WHY would you ship a item I called and emailed about to cancel. Their response "there is a 15% restocking fee if you want to cancel the order you cannot just place orders and cancel them without a fee."

My response back was  "I called and emailed about this and no one said anything. As well, I tried to look at your policies and the Spotify page is completely broken. There is no where on your site that confirms what you are saying. It is not stated anywhere"

My 2nd Response:

Hello Oneness,

I went back and tried to find the policy which you are speaking of and it is nonexistent. If that is your policy to charge a 15% restocking fee for cancelling a shoe that is not sold out and not even shipped then that is terrible business. I would completely understand if it was a limited item that I may have stopped someone else from purchasing. If that is your policy (which to reiterate, is not shown anywhere on your site or Spotify and not explicity expressed to let customers know), then go ahead and ship me the shoes.

I will not be doing any more business with you and will be sure to let everyone I find and the sneaker community as a whole know how you all do business and that I would suggest giving their money to another vendor.

Regards,

Response back from Oneness  "that is our policy and these are a limited release we normally do not even offer refunds or cancelations"

My response: "

Show me the policy.

And they are limited to 500 pair yes. But they are sitting on all sites. They are not selling out at all.

Its fine, I am not even going to argue through emails like a child. I am done.

Thanks for the business.

Moral of story...I just want NT fam to know before you shop with them that if you have to cancel for a LEGIT reason...you are SOL. And its a 15% ghost restocking fee. I will not do business with them again.

***Post it, share it...whatever you want to do. With it being christmas time, I just dont want folks to get stuck like I did. I have contacted sneakerpolitics to see if they can cancel....we'll see*

Damn! I do see that stupid "restocking" fee...BUT...as you stated it's CLEARLY represented on a website. Other places like Packer, who I think it says no return etc...I called and spoke to someone and they worked with me on the issue. Good CS for sure. I did business once with Oneness. For the LeBron 9 Cannon. It arrived fine. A friend saw mine and ordered his size...they sent him the left shoe only! How do you NOT check the box before shipping? Sorry to hear that though bro. I will think twice before even considering them.

Yea man. It's crazy. But I'm done with them.

You might be right Scott, only PYS had them so it was a leftover or some very limited release, unfortunately I dont have a pair to try to read the label.

Yea I'm thinking left over stock, (atleast thats what I remember). I'm doing a contributor post on another major blog and I'm listing the battleground 1 as one of 10 shoes that should retro again. :)

Damn right it should be! I will co-sign on that suggestion any day.

Anyone know how to determine the production date of early to mid 80s Reeboks? I have some BB4600s, some TDs, and some Renegades but can't determine a specific year of production. Any ideas?
