Johan actually had good stuff today, but he pitched differently than he usually does. He went right after guys throwing strikes not trying to nit pick.

unearned runs stink, besides the defense I have nothing to complain about.

Los B is 2nd in the NL in batting. Dave is 10th.

David is hitting .371 with RISP, Mets overall in 2nd at .289.

Batting .336 overall....and that was with a whole bad month in April.

If this guy can get that 30-40 HR thought out of his mind and focus on his gap to gap natural game, he could easily, EASILY bat .350+ for a season and knock in140 RBI with 20 HR and .420 obp (winning a batting title).

But instead he's a .300 hitter 30HR 110 RBI kind of guy....not that its a bad thing but I'd gladly take option A in a heartbeat.

No coincidence that once he broke up with his girl late last month he started raking to begin this month.
