nope. they wind up lettin Franchy go. Hicks will just sit in a corner till we have a blowout . classic case of NY pressure. when people ask if it's that bad playing here, he should be the poster boy for now ...

Yanks need to make a move. When Bader gets here get rid of Hicks, just DFA him . Don't wanna put it all on him but that dugout needs a fire cracker in there to wake em up. Let's get a lil fire in there and enuff of hittin hr's that mean nothin and lookin for cameras to do your routine in :smh:

This team needs a couple dogs, ballplayers, guys who have dirty uni's every game. Guys who dive in the stands, guys who actually break up double plays. Sodium levels are super high this morning :smh:

Kinda stayed in it the first 2.5 weeks not losing a series...been pathetic ever since. Everyone injured, no pitching etc...
 
Getting some starting pitching back could help. Bader could help and move Hicks back to bench. We still need a true closer. Don’t trust Holmes there. He’s more of a set up man. Hopefully Judges IL stint is truly 10 days, is back in time and we somewhat play decently through until then.

Who else do you suggest? King? He's more valuable for multiple innings imo. We really don't have a shutdown guy unless Holmes is right and he hasn't been right in a while.
 
Clay obviously can't handle the pressure of a closer. Put him back in that setup role and get a true closer, know it ain't an easy task but they need to do something. Search the scrap heap, find Joba, let Chapman do whatever he wants, something.
