News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

Sadly, it's a reboot. They're starting all over again.

Even more sad is that Arnold, in this one, might be human (a family friend?) and the guy the terminators-looks eventually becomes based on.

It's also suppose to be a start of new trilogy so eventually you might see a 70 year old Arnold pumped up in steroids trying to kill John Connor. :lol

The company that owned the license and rights went bankrupt iirc and it kept changing hands so the trilogy never happened.

But Blaster, this is a reboot, it'll practically be 1 & 2 redone or retelling (I'm sure they'll change stuff around) plus a third film. Really not sure how they're going to pull it off but it is a full blown reboot from what I understand.

Salvation wasn't that good but I thought it made enough money to continue that story.

Terminator has turned out worse than all of the Rocky movies.

will wait till its on netflix :{
im tired of these reboots

am i the only one who thinks that james cameron is doing to much with this avatar sequel
2016 i believe is the release date for 2 and 2017 for 3

Want no part of that then :{

Honestly, can they not just think of something new or expand on what's already been made??? Why completely remake??

Cameron is going to shoot back to back so it's no problem. I think it is overall better that way too.

Nobody with good taste is going in to that for anything other than to waste their time enjoying possibly better cgi.

So I couldn't give a **** less what Cameron is doing with the movie. Hopefully somehow it ends with a trilogy.

I watched Avatar to enjoy Pandora. Him riding that mythical dragon type thing was cool af. Everyone I talked to in real life enjoyed the movie.

This is the only time i'd say I hope Skynet sends a terminator back to this time and terminate those in charge of the reboot.

So it's not just the first one redone? If so I'm fine with that.

Salvation was complete trash btw

I thought it was an enjoyable movie and I am a hardcore Terminator fan. I was surprised at all the negativity surrounding the movie. But it should not be rebooted.

IMO avatar was boring garbage. It was just the 3d movie to go watch :{
a sequel trilogy is coming out too :{

They are pioneering underwater filming technology so I guess I can't complain

didnt watch it in 3d so cant say
I hate 3D so much. Surprised it is still being made. The audience at large is not paying for 3D on a overwhelming majority of movies.

Last I checked they were losing money on 3D but that prolly aint still the case

Yeah...I guess he really knows how to write and sell to a big mainstream audience. I mean, at this point, he's just a classier Michael Bay imo.

I don't think any of the sequels will make Avatar 1 money, but with int'l, they'll still kill. *shrug* I'll pass.

We got 3 gems so far (Cosmic Cube, Whatever this is, and the Aether). Some people even theorized that Loki's scepter is the mind gem although that was never confirmed. 3 possibly 4 gems. Thanos should be in full force in Avengers 3
smokin.gif
Tesseract is in Asgard

Aether is with the Collector

Loki has the gem inside the scepter still I'm guessing. What I noticed is that the Chitauri in the Avengers said to him "You question us? You question HIM? He, who put the scepter in your hand, who gave you ancient knowledge and new purpose when you were cast out, defeated?" I have no idea why Thanos would give Loki the scepter, which I hope they expand on in the future. But the quote is obviously referring to Thanos who probably found Loki after he drifted in space after Thor 1.

The Orb in the Guardians of the Galaxy

Hmm...this leaves 2 left. My best guess is that Doctor Strange will have the last one (Orb or Eye of Agamotto?)

No idea what the last one would be haha.

But the whole "Thanos assembling all of the Infinity Stones" is making me so hyped for Avengers 3. And with the cliffhanger that was Thor 2 and Loki's absence from Avengers: Age of Ultron, any chance that Loki appears in Avengers 3 to fight Thanos or join forces with him?

Regarding Avengers 2, I think Ultron is going to make it personal with Tony Stark and kill War Machine. Just a hunch I have. Vision will eventually help Tony redeem his best friend.

My bad it was the cosmic cube that was never confirmed.
Okay so where is the Cosmic Cube right now? and has it been confirmed to be one of the gems or no? That would be 4 if it is confirmed.

I would've been sick if they made and Inhumans movie and Max the Mad had the last gem.

Oh you're still correct! They just renamed the Cosmic Cube to the Tesseract just for the cinematic universe. Personally, I think Cosmic Cube sounds way better hahaha

Just read this. Cleared things up a bit

"The Tesseract remained in the custody of S.H.I.E.L.D.  (the successor organization to the SSR) until the early 21st Century, when the rogue Asgardian Loki  stole it from them for Thanos  in exchange for a Chitauri  army he could use to invade Earth."

Tom Hiddleston signed a new contract to be Loki for 5 more films I believe, so expect him in anything

The Tesseract/Comic Cube is in Asgard, Thor took it with him at the end of Avengers and they stated it again at the end of Thor 2 when they gave the Aether to the Collector, they said they do not want two stones in the same location.
