INVINCIBLE Animated Series In The Works At Amazon From THE WALKING DEAD's Robert Kirkman

Kirkman will produce an hour-long animated series for Amazon, which has Simon Racioppa (Teen Titans) on board as showrunner.

Like the comics, the eight-episode "adult animated" series will focus on Mark Grayson, a normal teenager in every way aside from the fact that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet.

It seems that Invincible live-action feature is still in development at Universal despite this series also moving forward.

Todd McFarlane’s Spawn Reboot Movie Reportedly Casts Jeremy Renner

A recent listing on Production Weekly has revealed that actor Jeremy Renner has been reportedly cast in the Spawn reboot movie. There are no other details regarding the character he will play.

Another piece of information we spotted revealed that SFX and makeup wizard Greg Nicotero is also on board the movie. The artist is well known for his works in the horror genre and has received multiple primetime nominations for his works in AMC’s The Walking Dead and has also won a Primetime Emmy in 2010 for Oustanding Prosthetic Makeup in the same TV series.

I remember like a year ago someone posted about Irredeemable being made into a movie. Story sounded cool. I checked if it’s in production but last thing I read was they got a director.
 
Hollywood’s First Plus-Size Superhero? Sony Sets Maria Melnik To Script Pic On Valiant Comics’ ‘Faith’


Women have already become staples of the superhero movie game, but now the genre will have its first plus-size female heroine. Sony Pictures is moving forward with a live action adaptation of the Valiant Comics superhero story Faith, and the studio has hired American Gods scribe Maria Melnik to write the film.




The hero is Faith Herbert, a jubilant, comics-and-science-fiction loving geek who also happens to have telekinetic superpowers. Toby Jaffe and Neal Moritz will produce via their Original Film banner with Dan Mintz of DMG Entertainment.
