I just went with info that was released at the reveal and the only other place I read articles were ign and cnet. That would suck for people that don't want it connected for whatever reason or don't ever want to use it but with enough outcry I'm sure that can be changed.
My viewpoint on the whole "I don't like a feature" or "I don't like this requirement" thing is that they really have no choice but to bend or fold to what the majority wants. There were some that couldn't stand the fact that the xbox 360 still had memory cards instead of usb sticks and soon enough they had to make that available.
All I'm saying is lets discuss things objectively, I have no interest in convincing anyone to purchase the xbox one or ps4. I only want us to discuss the real info dropped not going off on a tangent about things we aren't 100% on. There really isn't a reason for brand loyalty this time around, theres no backwards compatibility.

I'm sure it was mention at the Xbox One conference, that you can start playing the game pretty much instant once you start downloading the game, the game will continue to download as you play ...just like it was mention w/ the PS4 ...as a past xbox FAN.
at the butthurt fan boys for people calling out the nonsense that is the announced xbox one.
I want you guys to go home and download your xbox 360 games to your hard drive and see how long it takes.

lol i think the craziest thing i heard in here was someone saying dont put out false info, and speculations. It isnt certain whether or not the xbox one requires kinects etc... Then i posted a qoute from a big wig from m$..as well as the microsoft reveal for everyone else...(apparently the had the usa one first, followed by another to address foreign markets) where dude said the xbox one is non operable and cannot function without using kinect.as a past xbox FAN.

Then someone goes to post oh well that response doesnt neccesarily say you have to have/use kinect. Im like wth...can it get any stupidier then this, if something is required and rendered non operable/non functionable with out something....doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that it is needed for it to work.
Then someone else said oh nah that kinect check in which it sees how many ppl in the room etc...watches to see if there are ppl who arent authorized to view movie/show etc...is a myth. Then i post a engadget link in which they used the system FIRST HAND, not a dev but the actually system...and confirmed it is true. Yet you got ppl saying oh just because they played and used the system doesnt mean it is actually true......Lol i would think cats got stock in m$ in its early stages the way they are in denial.

yeah they stated that upon booting the system and going to the shop and starting to download the game, the gameplay will be available within seconds.....My thing is if it does checks i wonder would it check piracy of tv/music/movies as well? They didnt answer that, and no one really asked it. Like if you were to d/l and play a tv show/movie/music from a torrent site, or went to the bootlegger on the corner and bought a bootleg cd/dvd would it check it, and what would the system do if you got caught with pirated software/movies/music etc...?

You guys know what I realized last night... my damn Macbook Pro has a camera on it too...
What if these people been watching me all these years and the things that go on when Jada Stevens or Ice La Fox is on the damn screen.
I didn't even realize that about my laptop man I just forgot about it because I never use it but then I started thinking to myself hmmm.
That is all.
Still hoping they show a Halo 2 remake at E3.
Doesn't matter though E3 isn't going to make or break either system for me because I don't plan on buying any next-gen until 2 a year a two later down the line.
My 360 going to ride until the damn fan belt stop running.

You can address people directly, like I already said all my info came from the reveal and two articles. The things that people are crying about just don't seem like that big of a deal. I was basing my thought process about the kinect on the fact that you don't need to have it hooked up to a 360 now to function. i dont scour or backpage...so ... Whether it is a big deal or not, is determined by the individual. They did say that althought the system at the reveal didnt have a power off mode, the gen release version will, but it is best to have it in safe mode if you will, powered down...in which it consumes little to no energy, and can/will power fully on when it does its daily drm check, software and games firmware updates etc..
My take on it is, im not an online gamer, at all, also many of times i tend to travel alot..(mainly because of various military obligations) and located in places where there is little to no internet/wifi. So i would hate to not be able to play a game....seeing as they said that you must connect to the internet to actually even play single player. im limited restricted to gameplay.
Not to mention, im honest, i torrent many of movies etc... i couldnt even play movies/tv shows on the thing...for fear of being blackballed and basically having a oversized directv brick of a system.
Im not getting one come release thats a promise, but if i do get one in the future, it probably will be once it becomes hacked and makes the system function, in the way traditional game systems do.

On topic: I started with PSone, got PS2 and gamecube, then graduated to 360. I really want to stay with Xbox but with all this dissapointing news about the XboxOne I might just make that move back to Sony
Hopefully E3 clears things up but this forced Kinect always on, no used games, and no backwards compatibility are big issues for me
