Alex Smith the perfect game manager . When **** gets bad and he has to win the game and throw down the field he cant do it . Nice game though

The game manager damn near threw for 300 yards.
LOL he has played one more game than everyone else. After tonight's game, the non-game manager Alex Smith has thrown for 669 yards this season. That's good for 5th on the list of passing yards.

Never thought it was gonna be easy, we were a 4-12 team last year for a reason. That many holes can't be filled in ONE season. But fundamentals SHOULD be, we made so many mistakes last night any other team with an aggressive QB woulda won by 20+
Im so tired of hearing this 4-12 excuse. From all accounts it was only bc Vick was hurt lol.

Oh yeah and the team yall lost to was 2-14 last year...it looks like theu filled alot of holes pretty fast
I still don't get the criticism of Smith, he knows what he is and is doing it efficiently. I'd much rather see him play within his means instead of forcing throws downfield that get picked off. He doesn't have the ability to be a Rodgers so why try? Alex Smith is playing by the mantra I try to live by: 'Accentuate your strengths, hide your weaknesses'. Will the Chiefs win the SB with him? Probably not but for now he gives them the best chance to win.
Side note I know I was joking about it last night but legit if Ben went to KC I could see them being like Pitt of 7 years ago. I really like the pieces they have

Colts went from a 2 win team to an 11 win team last year - THINGS CHANGE IN THE NFL. You seem quite upset. Show me on the dolly where the eagle touched you.
I never meant he was a great or even good QB. I'm saying I respect an individual that performs as well as they can, and that is the case with A Smith this year (and last year with SF). He can't do better than be a 'game manager', so be the best darn game manager you can be! My point is, I'm not going to get down on someone who simply doesn't have the tools or ability to do any better. He can't help that, he can only accentuate his strengths and hide his weaknesses (so glad I've used that twice now)
Bengals v Pack are interesting this weekend, what else looks good?

Do you guys think the Steelers would take a 2nd rounder for Big Ben?

I will say i didn't think much of the Chiefs coming into the season and they playing solid football, looking like a wildcard spot..but lets not get carried away, they played Jax n Dallas at home, n beat Philly on the road..which is a decent road win but thats a schedule that set KC up for a good shot at 3-0 with a new coach and Checkdown Shawty Smith doing his thingChiefs are balling so far..3 wins in 3 weeks..
