NFC east killin it

literally killin' the sport we know as football

5 wins will win the division :lol

Cowboys are 1-1, we lost by ONE point on the ROAD to this team that everyone feels is a 10 win Wildcard team, with a strong possiblity of reaching 11 wins.

The other bums in the division might be hovering around 6 wins all year, but the Cowboys will be a 10-11 win squad :hat

I hope Alex Smith goes 16-0 and ends up winning the Super Bowl just to make the haters even more salty. :lol

And no, i'm not a Chiefs fan. Far from it (check the sig).

It's just funny to see so many people hate on him for being a 'game manager.'

So ******g what. Better to be that than a wild *** qb throwing pics left and right.

Execution > Flashiness.

I hope my Chargers win the Super Bowl first and foremost of course...but if we dont... then and only then do I hope for that :lol

lets not act as if your team doesn't have many issues of its own. a jekyll and hyde offensive line, a porous defense, and a coaching staff that refuses to run the ball.

Because there's only two types of QBs -- the 'flashy, interception throwing' kinds, and Alex Smith.

Definitely no middle ground in there.

Five turnovers, win by 10 points. Dat Alex Smith/Andy Reid collab-football. :hat

Okay Okay... I take my post back.

I'm not rooting for Alex Smith to win the Super Bowl.

Chester you've made me feel stupid. :o

Never thought it was gonna be easy, we were a 4-12 team last year for a reason. That many holes can't be filled in ONE season. But fundamentals SHOULD be, we made so many mistakes last night any other team with an aggressive QB woulda won by 20+
Im so tired of hearing this 4-12 excuse. From all accounts it was only bc Vick was hurt lol.

Oh yeah and the team yall lost to was 2-14 last year...it looks like theu filled alot of holes pretty fast
Colts went from a 2 win team to an 11 win team last year - THINGS CHANGE IN THE NFL. You seem quite upset. Show me on the dolly where the eagle touched you.
plus Mike Vick is my least favorite player in the NFL, I'll fight him right now.
Hey, atleast I know that I'm a hater :lol

All of these claims 3 weeks into the season :lol. All i'm going to say, is that we can't continue to shoot ourselves in the foot like we did last night. Cut the mistakes and it's a completely different ball game. I know it's easy to just say that, but it's the truth. We didn't even give ourselves a chance to win that game, last night.

Also have to give credit to the Chiefs D. A lot of playmakers for them on that side of the ball, especially on the D line, and at LB. They're no slouches.

:rollin I'd bet 1000 dollars dallas doesn't win 11 games.

Thing is that'll never happen. Alex Smith doesn't lead the niners over the packers like Kap did because he can't. Thats fine. Why do yall feel the need to cape up for him? He's average in every sense. If I bet on black and red simultaneously playing roulette I won't technically ever lose but I don't win either....unless it lands on green. Like the alternative to Alex Smith isn't mike vick. I know vick is flawed. Alex Smith can't lead your team back from being down big though. Good for him he's won many games once Harbaugh came to SF and so far this yr. Its not either alex smith or a wild reckless gambler, you can have a non error prone qb who isn't carelss but also can win you a game and make a huge play, there's plenty of those QBs around starting. Still doesn't change the fact that he's incredibly boring to watch :lol yes he's effective against bad defenses but let him go into seattle and see what happens. This is seriously like debating a #3 starter on a pitching staff that strikes out 120 guys a season in 200 innings with a 4.00 era...yes he will win you games but you can't throw him out in the world series as your clincher or look to him to give you 8 innings of shutout ball when youre in game 6 down 3-2 in the series.

Man Im not capin for Alex Smith.

I could care less about the Chiefs.

You really think im seriously rooting for that boring *** team the rest of the season? :lol

I wasn't that serious man. All i meant was its funny to see so many people be so upset about Alex Smith's boring *** winning games. Its entertaining. So i hope it continues.

But im not seriously rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs or Alex Smith :{ :lol

:rollin gotcha...shoot I'm gonna be HURT for the next few days that King Check down steamrolled my squad, it's sickening :x so painful to watch like you're handcuffed in a chair watching people rob your crib with no escape, thats how helpless I felt as an eagles fan :lol I shoudln't even be talking the way dude carved our sorry D up :{ :{ we did sack him several times though >D NFC East will be a quest to 7-8 wins for that title :smokin

I don tknow why this guy is going so hard against te eagles. They are rebuilding and I actually appreciate that their fans on here have realistic expectations.

Watching Alex Smith beat your team is like having a flight cancelled and having to wait in the terminal for 12 hours

B. Flo did a splendid job on D-Jax.

For those complaining about game manager Smith, mistake free football goes a long way. Geno against NE in W2. Vick against KC in W3.

He may not win games by himself, but he's not losing them either.

Next week the Steelers play at Minnesota too. If they start off 0-4 going into their bye week you don't think they'll start heavily considering trade offers for Big Ben? I'm asking because the players on the Bucs for the most part are ready to win RIGHT NOW. We can't draft somebody next year and wait for them to develop along the way. I don't see any RG3, Luck or Russell Wilson in this draft. The Jags, Browns, Titans, Raiders, Rams, Cardinals and Eagles all could be in the market for a QB in the draft anyway so who knows what we would end up with.

Haley is brutal...Tomlin will be there for at least 10 more yrs, Steelers are LOYAL. And my man always has that clean edge up, must get shape up during halftime speeches :lol

I'm tempted to call a Pitt upset over Chicago.
Brown and Sanders were unable to beat man coverage against Alterraun Verner and Jason McCourty..

what do you think Charles Tillman and Tim Jennings are going to do, with Julius Peppers chasing around Ben?
laugh.gif

Aside from all the Haley issues, at the end of the day, players have to make plays.  Brown and Sanders are completely unable to get any sort of separation, beat man coverage, or command a double team w/o Mike Wallace.  Our o-lineman consistantly lose individual matchups, and the Steelers have been completely unable to get any sort of consistent pressure on opposing QBs.

oh yeah, Lamar Woodley can invite himself on to the first thing smoking out of town

LeBeau will draw up pressure from Timmons, Woodley, Jones. Cutler folds under pressure, turns into a different QB. Turnovers galore.

Makes a difference is Heath and Bell can go.
