No its not. They were at like the 50. Both teams would've had to come out and make plays. They were VERY fortunate to get that good kick and pin them in. If that kick goes in the endzone and they get the ball at the 20 they've effectively traded 1yd away from the win, for 30yds of field on defense. Only way they should've kicked that was if they were up a touchdown. A minute is PLENTY of time to get into field goal position, from anywhere on the field. And its not like Carolina's defense had been playing that well.

If the Ray Lewis situation is true, 
A spokesperson for the Baltimore highway safety authority (HSA) has confirmed that Ray Lewis has broken both of his legs in a traffic altercation. He has been transported via ambulance to a local Baltimore hospital for treatment, and the full extent of his injuries are not known at this time, however, both of his legs were visibly broken and not life threatening according to sources.
The accident involved a 2012 BMW driven by Ray Lewis and a 76 year old female driver in a 2010 Audi. The driver of the Audi was issued a citation for failing to stop at a red light before striking the vehicle driven by Ray Lewis at a high rate of speed.
Team spokespersons could not be reached for comment at this time.

yeah they were at the 50 yard line, and Atlanta would only need 1-2 first downs for a FG as opposed to going down the field with NO TIMEOUTS from the 20 yard line or less.
Ryan threw a balloon and the Panthers still didn't know what to do with it.
