Premier tight ends ain't **** either

Tony G has 1 career playoff victory
Gronk was out and pats still got to the afccg two years in a row
Jimmy Graham did nothing in the playoffs
Finely nothing the past few years
Witten hasn't been to the playoffs in years

VD has been good in the last few playoff runs

Great line play and good of amount talent surrounding them wins.

exactly . neither position is worth $10mil/year

WRs and TEs arent worth more than a point MAYBE in Vegas

Damn no love for Julio in the top 10??? I know he was hurt last year but I'd easily put him ahead of Jennings, Jordy, DT, Josh Gordon, probably Marshall and Fitz too, maybe Im just biased tho :rolleyes:lol

he basically didnt play last year so i didnt include him . Greg Jennings with a solid QB in Rodgers was top 10 . im equating his drop off last year with his **** QB situation

Absolutely. There are so many wiser investments.

Megatron -- 0 wins (didnt make the playoffs)
AJ Green -- 0 wins
Dez Bryant -- 0 wins (didnt make the playoffs)
Larry Fitzgerald -- 0 wins (didnt make the playoffs)
Josh Gordon -- 0 wins (didn't make the playoffs)
Greg Jennings -- 0 wins (didn't make the playoffs)
Brandon Marshall -- 0 wins (didn't make the playoffs)
Andre Johnson -- 0 wins (didn't make the playoffs)
Demarius Thomas -- 2 wins
Jordy Nelson -- 0 wins (didn't make the playoffs)

in the past two years , there are only 4 total playoff wins across 3 players . the rest have goose eggs

I mean, I understand where you're coming from... but look at the QBs on some of those teams. It doesn't matter how good you are, Andy Dalton, Tony Romo, Carson Palmer, whoever the QB was of the Browns, Case Keenum/Pick Six, Matt Flynn for like 5 games -- you aren't gonna win **** with those QBs.

Percy Harvin is top 10 when healthy and was def. a difference maker in the SB. Larry Fitz w/ Kurt was worth every penny of $10+ mil a year.

greg jennings last year in gb was **** too... smh no way on gods green earth is greg jennings a top 10 receiver...

seahawks just won the super bowl after trading a ton for a WR

and giving him a new deal..

Jordy and Cobb are top 10.

Jennings was 2 years ago but fell off.

James Jones dropped out of the top 10 this past week.

On the other hand:

Since 2007, here's the list of top-three/four WRs/TEs on the SB winning team:
Doug Baldwin
Golden Tate
Jermaine Kearse
Percy Harvin
Anquan Boldin
Jacoby Jones
Torrey Smith
Dennis Pitta
Victor Cruz
Mario Manningham
Hakeem Nicks
Greg Jennings
Jordy Nelson
James Jones
Marques Colston
Robert Meachem
Lance Moore
Santonio Holmes
Hines Ward
Nate Washington
Amani Toomer
Plaxico Burress
David Tyree

So yeah... a bunch of decent #1s and veterans... but how many top 5 guys? A handful at best.

If the Eagles can get a 2nd round pick for Desean then see ya later

Once he loses a step he's done in this league

This is ******ed.

Outside of quarterback no top 5 in pretty much any position directly correlates to playoff wins.

So no top position players other than quarterbacks should get paid.

Cobb aint a top 10

Calvin
Dre
Marshall
DT
Dez
AJ
Jordy
Gordon
Larry
Julio
V-Jax
D-Jax
Cruz
Crabtree
Brown

In no particular order are all better and its no knock against Cobb

Reggie is coming off a serious injury and TY isn't a top WR (yet) that's why

my point isnt that WRs are worthless , or that when paired with an elite QB arent very valuable

my point is that no WR is exclusively worth $10mil a year and that the QB is WAY more important than the WR . thats why paying a top WR a boatload of money when you have no QB is a huge waste of money . build the rest of the team , and wait until the QB position is figured out . there will be plenty more quality WR around to choose from

Jordy and Cobb are top 10.

Jennings was 2 years ago but fell off.

James Jones dropped out of the top 10 this past week.

Lol@ this week. Lolol

No love for the va tech homie Jared boykins? He's gotta be right outside the top 10

I think he's ahead of Jennings, Jordy, Fitz and probably DT.  Borderline Gordon and Marshall.
Oh ok just had to make sure my boy was getting a lil bit of love. With the numbers he was putting up before injury he was on track for around 1900 yds
