What I worry about is the Steeler D & how they play RGIII. The D played their best game last week so we'll see if they come to play this week. It will be interesting to see what LeBeau comes up with. Mendenhall & Redman have yet to practice this week & Gilbert Brown & Troy are out. Steelers are also going to wear the 80th anniversary throwbacks...

JJ while Philips helped because I think he was a great coordinator just not built to be a HC it also comes down to personal.
When we made the switch to 3-4 we had some players in place but also committed to the draft.
We drafted Watt to be 3-4 End, don't get me wrong his ability to collapse a pocket and get to the QB is
but majority of times out Ends on the 3-4 are there to contain, stop the run and generate some pressure, he was huge pick up.
But with that being said we have players who can run the QB ( Reed / Barwin / Smith / mercilus ( who's showing flashes but struggled in coverage ) ) MLBs ( losing Cush Hurt a lot cause he was our defensive leader and very smart but also our best Coverage LB ) and James isn't a slouch in the Run game. Along with 3 good Corners in Reem and JJoe.
I haven't watched any Skins games so I'm not going to talk on your personal but outside of Orakapo who creates pressure? And your secondary is :x

Lol, I hella did. But yes, the future is extremely bright/exciting in D.C. Those bogus cap penalties do hurt and I know you (as a ******** fan) can only use the injury excuse to a point so I'll continue to harp on it....

Those are critical pieces. Garcon showed exactly what he can do in this offense the first game of the season. Your second best receiver is a toss up between a 15lb lighter Santana Moss and Leonard Hankerson. I think just getting healthy going into next year, solidifying the Defensive Coordinator position with a 3-4 defensive mind (Keith Butler anyone...coming from that LaBeau coaching tree) and the Skins have a legit shot at a postseason birth.

If their defense could stop someone they could legit be in a playoff hunt, issue is RG3 can only score so much.
I'm not comparing the 2 but look at the pats.
Very good offense, back end of their defense can't stop anything :x that's why Brady has to go off most games and its only going to carry you so far.

Garcon has been mad frustrating. He has played in like 2% of the total snaps. 
I mean damn man. Big contract.....gets hurt first game.
That's the thing.....the Skins defense is horrendous. Kerrigan is one of the few constants.......that and D. Hall getting torched even after playing 15 yards off.
But alas, even with that RG III gives the Skins a legitimate shot everytime he steps on the field. This team would be 1-6 or so with Rex as the starter.
I thought they would win between 6-8 games this year and that would be a success.

This richard sherman is a class clown...He changed his twitter name to Optimus Prime in anticipation of playing the Lions...I'm not down with the whole peacocking & celebrating that's going on now in the NFL...JPP celebrating a sack on RGIII not realizing the ball was fumbled last week was a prime example...These young dudes....

It's obvious from Sherman.....he will not be there again.
I enjoyed when Randy Moss caught that one handed TD on Revis after Revis was popping off that dude was a slouch.

And when it comes to those kind of guys I am not "hating" on certain teams or cities. I just like character guys or underdogs......the player who was counted out.
I enjoyed the silent Andre Johnson thrashing Courtland Finnegan.
There are loud/egotistical guys on the Skins I can't stand. D. Hall. Even Santana Moss finding the camera man after both his TD's and giving a speech in front of the camera knowing Eli has 1:53 left on the clock.

Sherman is def an up & coming corner, but damn you jawing with a QB that went to 5 SBs & won 3, MVP of the league too (twice right?). A regular season win ain't dookie son. I swear these young hucklebucks kill me...Someone show him some Ronnie Lott footage to see how it's done with some class (& mean intentions)...

I can respect someone not liking his cocky attitude. It's not for everyone but I dont rock with some sort of karma belief that he's going to fall off simply cause he talks **** in a competitive sport.

He hasn't even played two full seasons. I just feel like talent doesn't need a gimmick like Chad Johnson or T.O. Maybe it's just a sign of the times or a different mentality.

Yup. As a CB, you absolutely have to have the ultimate confidence in yourself and your abilities or else you will not be successful. Plus, these are mind games. And they can be very effective.
Imagine if Deion had Twitter in his career......now that's a fun thought.

there's a difference though. yeah sherman talks, but he backs it up. unlike guys like deangelo hall and laron landry who run their mouth and constantly get beat
