"It was definitely more about us than about him," Sherman said. "I'm talking about our back end and the three Pro Bowl players we have back there, how great our (defensive) line is playing, how awesome our linebacker play is, how great our rookie quarterback did against Tom Brady."

Is this the quote you're talking about? That's a reach. It just seems like you're trying to use the end of the season records as
a way to say "oh we lost the battle but won the war" even though it doesn't matter.

I saw Vince Young training today at my school- lets just say that you better watch out for his SON!

The kid is in 6th grade and throws 30-40 yd bombs.

The ******** will pay him $20 mil a season for 1 game and a handful of catches. Sorry GB.

I know youre being a little sarcastic but don't be sorry. I'm sure someone will throw crazy money at him, but we don't need to. We're getting enough production out of Jordy at 4 mil a year, Jones at 3 mil a year, and Cobb at 520k this year.

I could see Jennings going to the Skins, they love the 5'10 - 5'11" WRs but they won't have cap room...I love watching him play. It would be a shame to see him leave GB though...

Honestly, the Niners should pursue Greg. Excellent route runner who can operate efficiently underneath, within Alex's arm range no problem. They still need a WR (don't sell me on Crabtree either dland24) until AJ develops.

^ I think that would be a great fit, but at the start of the season the 9ers had like $800k in cap room & I don't think they have enough room next year so I can't see that happening...

^That's true. Did they sign Moss for longer than a year? I know Manningham got a long-term deal and Crabtree would be heading into his last season under contract right? Yeah, you're probably right though....not enough money. Greg probably wants Larry money :x :{

No, Moss signed a one year deal with no $ guaranteed. I also think they have a handful of their own FAs coming after the season so they have some analyzing to do...

Moss, Ginn, Walker, Jacobs, Lee, Sopoaga, Haralson, Jean Francois all unrestricted. Franchise tag on Goldson right now. Sadly, only a couple of these guys will return.

took a risk picking the Bucs over the Vikings tonight (even if it was slightly by accident lol), hope they build on this lead.

94% picked the Vikings tonight.

What are you referring to?

this quote:

Seattle Seahawks DB Richard Sherman to Tom Brady: 'You're just a man, we're a team'

my point was, let's see how his team finishes the year versus where the "one man Pats team' finishes. i get it....him, earl, and the boys got a huge win. you earned the right to get in a guy's face and talk trash during a game, totally fine. no problem with any of that at all. but if you're going to get on twitter and talk to reporters about what you said and make it a publicized deal, you better hope your team does more than win a few regular season games. otherwise you look like a damn fool. that was my point.

this thing is two weeks old now, it's not a big deal. just was building on what PSK brought up, which i agree with in a way. that's all.

It's not talked about enough how amazing it is the things that Ronde Barber is still doing out there on the field. Every single game this guy makes a game changing interception, fumble, sack, pick 6 or tackle for loss. I'm proud to have seen a first ballot Hall of Famer's career from start to finish.
