That said he didn't really say peyton was bigger than the league, just perhaps put too much stock on his individual impact on the growth of the game

NFL's schedule makes it a big deal too. A 16 game season that has offseason events throughout the year is the perfect 1-2 set up for fan attention.

I think its simple. It will most likely be 2 teams added, 14 total...Both #1 seeds get a bye and #2 through #7 play each other first playoff week. #2 vs #7 , #3 vs #6 , #4 vs #5. The lowest seed faces the #1 seed and go from there. I really think that the emphasis will be to make the #1 seed mean something greater by only having one team have the sole bye week

makes sense if they go that route. that means that the 2nd seed will no longer get a bye. interdasting.

Only when it is just for the sake of change. People get antsy and try to mess with things that don't need fixing. Only causes more issues in the future

Agree 100%, perfect ratio of playoff vs non playoff teams IMO. If they added two more think about what teams would've made it
