Bad for his ego, but I'm not sure his time sitting did enough for him to take it seriously. Especially with Saleh saying from the jump that he'd be starting again. Dude needs a reality check, come to Jesus moment...

Agree with you.

Seems like Zach Wilson was born on 3rd base and has never faced real adversity in his life.

Show and prove time for him.

He's in a more favorable position compared to his contemporaries given the weapons he has on offense and a really solid defense.

Streveler has seen the CFL, XFL, FCS football, and would’ve taken on NFL Europa if it still existed. More leagues than Linsanity.

And yet, he’s a better option than the captain of the offense, Zach Wilson.

That may help. But it’s looking like he just doesn’t have it regardless if he gets that reality check.

Yeah he got benched and had the injury to start the season. But there really hasn’t been any growth or figuring it out moment for him to where you can say the upside and improvement is there and there’s all but 2 games left in season 2 for him.

What’s crazy is unlike with past top draft pick qb’s where the Jets did them no favors development wise, the Jets have done a good job the last few offseasons stockpiling picks and improving the team. Outside of qb that’s not a bad team.

And we all know he was only given that to hopefully provide him a confidence boost.

Streveler has 2nd & 23, two runs later he has the first.
