Congrats to DeMeco on securing the 6 year deal which should ideally afford him some solid job security and the means to build that team from the ground up.

Kinda reminds me of Kyle Shanahan taking the 49ers job in 2017. After they fired their last two coaches after 1 season. No one worth a damn was taking that Texans job without any type of job security and understandably so. That organization deserves all of the negative attention it’s gotten over the last 3 years. But I really like this move for them.

They have some draft capital to play with. They’re in a weak division. Won’t be an overnight fix. But wouldn’t surprise me if they make some noteworthy improvement next season.
