I think he’s washed but not for the reasons we all attribute to what being “washed” means. He still has elite talent and will put up numbers for the Jets. Where he is washed is in that I don’t think he cares about football that much anymore. I think he wants to be in the NY market to see where that takes his brand. He wants to be an alt right adjacent dude in the NY market. I think he will spend most of his time getting out hot takes on NYers in general and how he can or can’t relate to them. From an actual playing standpoint he will do enough to win them a few more games than he won last year but I don’t think he cares much about winning. Not to mention Hackett won’t be able to reign him in he will run wild on this coaching staff.
