NFL Regular Season Thread 2019-2020: The Brazen Bahamian Battles Over Eli’s Legacy Til He’s Blue In The Face

Giants have to lead the league in blown coverage. Every game we give up 4-5 massive plays in cause of blown coverages.

probably not. we're like 10-4 all time against them or something. 8-4 with Brady

one loss a year to the Ravens ain't taking the division from us

The Ravens beat y'all twice in the playoffs too. The Ravens was winning 10-12 games in a tough AFC North for years. They coulda won 13-14 games in that garbage AFC east.

you realize if we had to play the Ravens twice a year, Bill would build the team that way, right? Harbaugh was just saying that every move the Ravens make is aimed at beating Pittsburgh twice and NE in the playoffs, it'd be the same for us.

if Bill is the genius y'all love to say he is, the Ravens aren't taking "a few" of the Pats AFCE titles away. i'll give you one or two maybe...but we're still dominating that division over the course of 20 years.

and the 10-4 includes the playoff losses IIRC

It ain't no scheme for Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Suggs and those dudes they had. Sometimes the other team just has too much. Belichick is a genius and the Ravens got him in some games. Brady has looked shook playing them at times.

Y'all own the Steelers and they're not in your division. Certain teams are a bad matchup. The players the Ravens had in the past were a great matchup to the Pats. That's why they embarrassed them twice in the twice playoffs. I never said "the Ravens would dominate for 20 years" but 3-4 of those years with Ed and Ray in their prime, yeah the Ravens woulda won that division.

Ravens have eclipsed 10 wins, 3 times in this decade. They weren't exactly the model of consistency with Flacco.

exactly

and the browns and bengals aren't exactly stiff competition in that division. the bengals had a run of maybe 3 years where they made the AFCN REAL tough

if we want to talk an AFC team that would give NE fits in the division, it'd be Denver. we've struggled HARD against them and get killed in denver

So?

That Ravens defense has embarrassed the Pats offense in some games. It ain't no scheme for Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Suggs and those they had. Sometimes the other team just has too much. Belichick is a genius and the Ravens got him in some games. Brady has looked shook playing them at times.

10-4

10-4, dude

y'all are some prisoners of the moment sometimes, man

denver got that altitude thing going thou.. but the patriots randomly losing in miami late in the year is always weird

it's the weather i think. it's gotta be. 80 degrees in December is huge switch up late in the season. thank god we got it outta the way

You could make an argument that the Bengals were better this decade than the ravens. At least in the regular season and within the AFC North.

5 playoff appearances, 2 AFC North titles, 4 seasons with 10 or more wins.

An AFC East Division with the Patriots, Steelers and Ravens would be a bit chaotic. All 3 teams have good players and are set up nice defensively in the near future.

But like DSA said, those teams and their coaches would make adjustments to mold their teams to beat one another and win the division.

The ravens were built for years with stud linebackers like Lewis, Suggs and Scott to stop the Steelers run game. As Ben progressed into a better QB, the Ravens had to focus more on their secondary and stopping the threat of Ben AB and Le'veon.

I just said during the game "The Ravens have a culture of not being scared of thePats".

The Ravens have never been like the Chargers or Steelers when it comes to playing NE. That's not prisoner of the moment.

Wouldn't say the steelers are scared to ever play the pats. They just can't beat them consistently. Just like every team in the league lol

London’s team would inevitably become the next browns for decades

going go all kinds of wrong, knowing how the NFL works.. but they'll get some schedule wins

and no way in hell could they be put in any other division but the east ones.. should be AFC or NFC if anything, not that it should happen

but shortest route to england is from the upper northeast

Of course YOU wouldn't say that

Yea, because I'm just supposed to believe a narrative that you have as an outsider because you believe it to be true.

They compete with them just like they try to do against every other team.

The 2017 season they wanted to face NE badly in the playoffs to avenge that Jesse James no catch game where they lost 27-24.

2018 17-10 win.

2019 they got kicked in the throat. But they damn sure don't 'fear' those dudes. Just can't beat them consistently.
