I do NOT regret not buying any retro cw.
Nikes MOST ICONIC RUNNERS EVER and they basically came up with the worst retro they ever did and that is quite an achievement. They are absolue T.R.A.S.H.
I mean, dark ages AM1s were pretty awful but 180s retros are just on a whole different level.

Wish Nike would stop neglecting this model, don't know why Nike holds back on them. AM 1s, 90s, 95s get plenty of releases, these should be right there with them.

So I’ve been wearing my 180’s around the house recently (last retro release) and this is starting to happen. It looks as if the actual air unit is either starting to crack or the paint they used for it is cracking. The paint on the outside of the shoe is also starting to peel off, pretty surprised to see this anyone else have this issue with their 17/18 pairs?

I must have lucked out, I had 0 issues w/my 2018 pair, wore them all the time summer 2019 + jumped rope on concrete in them. no squeaking air bag, hardly any paint chipping when I look now.

The cracking might be due to storage; temps/ humidity - I’ve had no issues with mine I live in Southern California so it’s pretty dry here. I’ve only worn them a few times though

I saw your post in the am1 thread. I have to say I don't much like how it looks, but since the 180 soles get so squeaky and annoying, not a bad move in general.

I totally agree, I have sold all my 180 retro's. The last pair I had (OG Magenta) sqeezed at the airunit and walked like wooden shoes. I have little hope Nike will make a anniversary-edition this year with a big airunit, after 30 years they should could come with a solution with Avia about the patent shouldn't they?
